Another chimney repair company performed service on my gas fireplace and re pointed the shoulder of my chimney. They did a good job and the shoulder repair stopped my chimney from leaking. The price for re-pointing $425 was a bit high and they recommended that my chimney needed to be rebuilt from 12 courses to the top and quoted $3,500. I thought that was excessive however they said the crack went all the way around the chimney and it would be unstable long term. I asked A Chimney to inspect and they said the crack did not go all around and the chimney only needed re-pointing and they charged $275. They recommended waterproofing for $300 which I researched and it was recommended by the Chimney safety Institute of America.. They showed up on time and did a nice job, cleaned up after themselves and even re pointed a few bricks on my retaining wall at no additional charge. The chimney looks great.

Everything went very good! Everything that they did was done very well and they were very competitive in price. I was very happy with their product.

I was not very pleased with them. They advertised a free inspection but it costed me 85 dollars. They did some things that did not need to be done. I have paid for a service that hasen't been done.
