He was very punctual and professional, even returning on a Sunday to install the surge protector. I was very happy with his service and would not hasitate to contact him again.

Tim and Dave showed up on time and went right to work performing the jobs just as I wanted. They were knowledgeable, professional, friendly, courteous and respected my home. They completed on time and cleaned up before leaving. I appreciated their efficiency and will use this company again in the future.

Tim and his helper found the problem and within an hour, the track lights were back on. I bought the 2 hour Angie's deal and it was worth it. Tim was very focused and knew exactly what to do, which was track the electrical wiring to find the exact power disconnect. He scheduled the job very quickly and made it convenient for us. I will definitely use him again.

Well. Arrived on time. Equipped to perform inspection. Asked relevant questions. Identified probable causes for a couple issues, fixed one during inspection (at no extra cost). Will provide estimate for identified additional work. Is very personable, competent, and eager to find solutions.

He came and made some minor repairs for me. I was very pleased to have him look at some things and have a little more peace of mind.

Tim scheduled the appointment rapidly, was responsive and friendly. When I expressed concern over the fine print and whether my home had complicating issues, he came by and inspected my property before I purchased the deal. He performed the upgrade, and when the city inspector pointed out that my gas meter was not grounded (not Tim's purview), he grounded it for free. He is friendly (we chatted in my living room for 5 hours while waiting for the city inspector the following week) and also gave me general advice about the electricity in my old townhome. I was waiting until pepco finished (pepco upgrades the actual meter box) before writing the review, but the work was complete in February and as of late April, Pepco has not yet completed the work! As I've had no electrical problems since then, everything appears to be working properly. I should mention that Tim had a helper named Dave who was also extremely friendly.

The service was performed on time. The repair only took about 30 minutes but the deal was for 2 hours. So I do not think it was a deal in terms of price but the work was fine.

Vendor arrived on time as agreed. I explained the problem: the house had lost a particular electrical circuit in the basement. Vendor first believed a socket was burned out...replacement did not restore circuit. Vendor exposed and tested sockets in basement and upstairs: still no success. Vendor then called "mentor" for advice. No success. After 2 hours vendor indicated he had to leave but would return the following day to open holes in various portions of my finishe walls to look for cause of circuit loss. I contacted AL and declined that particular remecy.

It went fine but he was not particularly clean. They charged for additional service. They charged about 100 dollars for the extra services. He wasn't careful drilling into the ceiling, he created a lot of dust and left the packaging around. He didn't clean up the packaging from the bulbs, he left some marks on the ceiling. He used a pen instead of a pencil.

The appointment was set up fairly quickly after ordering. Prior to the provider coming I became aware that the task I had contracted for was not needed. The provider came out and agreed the service was not needed. I appreciate the honesty of the provider

Tim was a very good communicator. He called prior to the appointment and arrived in a timely fashion. He encountered more old house issues than expected and needed to get additional items. There was no additional cost for the extra time. The original estimate was honored. He put drop cloths down to reduce the amount of cleanup required. He swept up where necessary afterwards. I plan to use him for future electrical projects.

All of the work went very well. The electrician was very professional and was a perfectionist. The work wound up taking a lot more effort than we initially thought, but he was very nice about all of it and only charged the initial estimate. I would recommend this company for future work.

I had an upstairs ceiling light that had suddenly stopped working. I suspected that a power surge had occurred while I was at work one day. I contacted Timothy of Paradise Construction and spoke with him briefly over phone about my situation. We agreed that he should look at my project before I went out and purchased a new light, in the event my current fixture was not repairable. He came to my home and indicated there were circuit boxes I should buy if I wanted an additional outlet added to one of my bedrooms. We then scheduled an upcoming Sunday at 2 p.m. appointment time. The appointment time was never kept and I was later called by Timothy and advised that his grandfather had suddenly taken ill in Michigan and he had rushed there. Since I had really needed another light fixture for several weeks by this time, I had Angie's List refund my original coupon for 2 hours of electrical work and they suggested a comparable big deal of $99 for $200 worth of electrical work by Murphy Electric.

Could not have gome better. The technician arrived and saw right away the fan he had was not the right size for hole in our ceiling. Excused himself, went shopping, and was back within half an hour with right-sized fan. The new fan is so quiet one can barely hear it while in the bathroom, and works great. Paradise was on time, quick in their work, and left us no mess to clean up.

I had a family emergency so I was not able to get the work done right after I purchased the deal. The contractor continued to call me about scheduling an appointment to take care of the electrical work. We finally connected and I explained to him that I would contact him when I was available because of a family emergency. He continued to call me and I definitely appreciated that. We scheduled an appointment for a specific date. He called me to let me know he was in heavy D.C. traffic but was on his way. I really appreciated him calling me in lieu of just waiting and not knowing. I shared with him I experienced the same thing same problem. He assessed the situation and started to put the light fixture up in the basement. However, all of the parts were not available. He told me he had the missing piece at home and he would come back to finish the project. He then proceeded to work on the outside light. He had to replace the inside light switch and that fixed the outside light. He also recommended a new outside light fixture. He returned as promised and bought the part to fix the ceiling light. He did not charge me extra to return or for the part that he used to fixed the ceiling light. I also had another ceiling light downstairs that did not work. He attached the wires that came lose and it also worked. He was professional, thorough, and returned as promised. We talked about future projects that were needed in the home. Good. Weather was an issue delaying completion but they kept coming back until the job was finished.

It went well! Tim knows what he's doing and was on time and worked efficiently. He told me what I needed to buy ahead of time which also saved time.

Everything has been okay. He showed up on time for the appointment. It turned out to be a bigger job and I felt the price he quoted was high. He was very courteous and he talked with my insurance for me while he was here. I may use him in the future.

It turned out very well. We thought the gentleman who came out was excellent and did good work. He came out on time and we were happy with the quality of his work.

It was fine. The only issue I had with them is they didn't have a lot of equipment on their truck so they when they got here and they saw what the job and they said oh we need this and we need that and they went to Home Depot to buy it and hour and a half later they came back and later in the job they found that there was something else they needed and they went off for another hour to Home Depot and came back with that and then they completed this job and everything was fine. They didn't charge me for the travel time for the Home Depot and back, but it made the job like four hours or five years instead of two hours which I bought so I paid them for two more hours which was actually part of the work they did, but it seems to me they should be properly equipped when they come out to house and have most of what they will need and they said that I had an older house and no one carries that kind of equipment on their truck anymore, but may be that is true and that is not true. I think a really equipped electrician would have had older stuff as well especially if they are going to an neighborhood with the older houses, but that was the only issue I had. What happened is I had leaks in my basement and I got a firm through you who was excellent and they put in an outside sump pumps, but I needed an electrical connection from the house to the sump pump, which the water proofing company doesn't do and they gave me a recommendation for somebody to use, but since you just put this ad on and deal out. I probably would use them again.

It went great. He came back a second time. I even referred him to someone.

Tim called me to let me know he was delayed -- a single parent, his daughter's ride hadn't worked out. I don't mind delays when I get a heads up, and I appreciated the notification. This was not a complicated job, but Tim was following up on the less than complete job done by another contractor who did not check on what the problem with the fan was. Tim saved me the trouble and cost of taking the fan to an appliance repairer -- an amount that would not have been worthwhile. Tim also pointed out to me that my kitchen light fixture was on its last legs. Not surprising, given that it's been there for at least 20 years! He is a friendly person, explains well, worked quickly and efficiently, and I will go back to him when I've selected a new fan and light fixture.

The job was handled quickly. They arrived on time and accessed the work. Provided a review for my next job, Very pleased with the company. They were professional and polite. I would recommend them to all my friends and colleagues. I would give the job an A+

The repairs and the replacement of the switches were done and I am very pleased with Paradise Construction work.
