The electrician called to let me know that he was on the way. Arrived as scheduled. He worked methodically and efficiently. He left no mess. I recommend him highly.

Timothy Eddings, the owner of Paradise Construction, and an assistant did an excellent job. They called before arriving to let us know they were on their way and arrived at the scheduled time. Both were very pleasant and personable. They accomplished the task very quickly and efficiently, and I didn't find a speck of dust or dirt when they finished. I purchased one of Angie's List deals: installation of one fan for $99. The additional fan installation cost another $50, which I think was less than originally quoted. I would definitely use Paradise again; in fact, we are considering having recessed lights installed in the room and I'm hoping they'll be available to do that job!

Showed up on time and installed a ceiling fan - they did a great job, working around the goofy issues that pop up in an old house.

He was prompt; he called beforehand to let me know exactly when he'd arrive; he did the job professionally and with obvious expertise. I'd definitely call on Paradise again.

They ran 2 hours late but they did call so that was good and service was fine. The problem I thought I had wasn't a problem so they changed sockets to three prongs and gave me some opinions and estimates on other work.

How did it go? Not well at all. First they unilaterally changed the contract from 2 hours of work to 2 jobs OR 2 hours whichever came first. Then, by not taking the time to read the installation instruction for the fan, damaged my ceiling. To have the ceiling repaired by a reliable company will cost me in total over $1500.00. Until the ceiling is fixed I am stuck with a temporary repair via pole and board in the middle of the bathroom. To use the bathroom I have to work around this set-up. The actual electrical hook-ups seem to be done OK, only time will tell, but their finish work is lacking. The basement wire is draped over water lines or beams and not tacked down even though I had wire staples on hand. They showed up on time, but left early before the jobs I had paid for were completed. Would I hire them again? Yes, as soon as h*** freezes. .

They said they’d have to poke some holes in the drywall, but they wouldn’t be able to seal it back up. I didn’t want to hire anyone else to do that so I’m getting a refund. They were very friendly, very flexible, and a pleasure to deal with.

They both were timely, efficient, personable and professional. They completed the job quickly and even asked if there was more they could do since I had paid for two hours. So, they spent the time investigating a problem I had with the outdoor light, which ended up being very complicated.

With whole house survey Paradise inspected thoroughly And, as promised advised homeowner of "mistakes" ( non code meeting requirements) in Electrical installation At homeowners request Paradise agreed to make necessary repairs. Date was set; Paradise returned as promised and spent several hours making repairs. Homeowner later called and requested that Paradise secure permit and schedule electrical inspection. They agreed to do do, did schedule inspection; Paradise was present on site when inspector arrived. Inspector went over the entire house and was very pleased with the electrical work.

The electrician was very professional and knowledgeable about the work. He was also punctual and considerate about time. He installed the light/fan fixture without a problem. To do the installation he had to go into the attic to do the wiring. With the installation of the light/fan fixture we now had two lights in the bathroom. The original light switch had only 1 toggle switch. Since we now had two lights, the electrician suggested we modify the switch so we had two toggles switches, one for each light. We agreed with the suggestion so he made the necessary adjustments. We provided a new switch cover. Everything worked nicely. We love the new light/fan and will use him again if the need arises.

Tim, Paradise Construction, responded promptly and immediately assessed the problem/situation. He was expertly knowledgeable in what needed to be done, and he did it in record time. He was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable -- very impressive! Tim's a keeper, and we plan on keeping him!

Tim came out as scheduled and installed the outlet. He was fast efficient and very customer service oriented. I was very happy with the work that he did and have already scheduled him to come back to work on some projects for me. What I really like is how customer oriented he is. His hours are tailored to work with the customer not what may work best for him. How many electricians will come out on a weekend to do the work and do it for straight time!!!! I plan to continue to use him since he is so easy to work with and is willing to work with me the customer.

The provider arrived and immediately went to work. I paid for two hours of service, but he actually finished the task in less than 30 minutes.

Two workers arrived on time, they were pleasant. I provided all the materials, they did the work. They were polite and got straight to work & finished in exactly 2 hours. They did a decent job of installation & cleaned up after the work. I didn't give them an excellent, because they didn't re-patch the ceiling, which I thought would be included, so I had a working light, but now a big hole in the ceiling. Second, the light switch, which is supposed to turn on from downstairs & upstairs only lets me turn on & off upstairs. So, if I am upstairs & want to turn the light on, but the downstairs light switch is turned off, I cannot turn it on. Just a little frustrating.

The issue was that the circuit breaker had become disconnected from the wire and that was causing the circuit to be dead. They didn't have a way to determine it and I found it out myself. Their proposal was to run an entire new wire. I don't know how it would have gone if I hadn't been there and done it my way. I wanted them to come out on a Friday but they got back to me on a Monday or a Tuesday. They were not particularly expensive. They presented nicely but it was just the work. They were responsive to the suggestion of opening the panel so I can grab the wires.

We didn’t get a whole house inspection. He went room to room, and they provided some service. My husband was home at the time, and they gave him some advice on how to fix a couple of problems we'd been having in different rooms. The deal wasn't what I was expecting, but I think it was due to a miscommunication.

He never contacted me. I ended up calling him. He was booked to far out for me to use his service.

My husband and I had been searching for an electrician for months and we could not have been happier with Paradise Construction. Tim and Dave were fantastic. They were very professional and extremely knowledgeable. They were also patient and gracious with all our questions, which we really appreciated. Our house is nearly 80 years old so we have a lot of work to do. Tim was a huge help in identifying the most important electrical issues to tackle first. We have already scheduled for them to come back to the house to do additional work.

They installed a three prong plug in our basement which we needed for our dryer and refrigerator. They did what they were supposed to do. We had a little misunderstanding about what was involved and I didn't consider them particularly accommodating. The work was satisfactory.

They were very friendly and very helpful overall, and although they didn't end up staying the entire time, it was only because I ran out of things for them to do. Otherwise, they were quite conscientious and offered to do more if I had anything else I could think of. They determined the issue with my ceiling fan was the previous occupants of my condo had not left the remote for the ceiling fan (and the light switch I couldn't figure out would have gone to either the fan or the light on my ceiling fan, but, it wasn't needed if you have a remote, so, it's a switch that goes to nothing and part of the design of the condo (that's an entirely different issue)). So, he still climbed up and looked at the ceiling fan to see if there was anything else he could do, and although there wasn't, he at least took the time and was courteous enough to read off all the serial numbers, etc. that I might need in order to find a new remote. They figured out my stuck light bulb pretty easily. But when they looked at the counter lighting element they determined I needed a new one of those. He was honest enough to tell me I could go find it on my own and it was easy (and not dangerous) to install myself and he took the time to show me how. Finally, they did install my two light switches and the only quality glitch I have is that my dimmer light switch in the bedroom seems to be installed "upside down". So, when you would normally flip the switch up to turn the light on, you have to flip this down to turn it on. I found out after they departed, and I would like to have that fixed but I have yet to call them to see if they will do it. I am SURE with the experience I had that they will come and fix it and not charge me, but, I'm trying to decide if I should just try and flip it around myself and then that way I won't have to try and schedule time to stay at home during work hours just to have them come fix that. I am sure this was an oversight and it is quite minor.

I asked Tim over Angie's email to return to fix drywall and complete the job. I requested 3 weeks later, he immediately agreed. He chose 9:00 am. The appointment day, a Sunday, Tim sent an email via Angie's at 5:00 am to note he would not arrive until 12:00, which came across as a passive aggressive move. He never bothered to offer an excuse, or return my call at 9:15 upon reading my email, didn't arrive until 12:45 (he answered when I called at 12:15 to tell me he was at another job and would be late), forgot the drywall necessary to fix the hole and needed to go to Home Depot, and finally finished around 2pm. I will never use him again, as I think leaving holes in the drywall was poor business practice, but his subsequent behavior is childish and not something I want to experience again.

We paid for service May 20, got a call for scheduling May 27. The contractor asked for the details of the electrical work to be done. I gave him a list and the person who spoke on behalf of Paradise said the voucher cannot be honored. The reason he said Angie's List did not put the specifics of the offer and that his repeated attempt to correct the advertisement with Angie's List did not materialize. He said he was sorry and recommended to get refund because the offer can no longer be honored. I am glad I had a chance to speak to the person otherwise an electrician would have been dispatched and half way through their work may have quoted additional charges. The offer said two hours of electrical work and the person who spoke said only two sockets can be done and rest would be additional charges. But I'm still wondering why it would take a licensed electrician from Paradise Construction to fix two sockets in two hours.

Everything went smoothly:) Completed installation of both bathroom fans in approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. Please note that the exhaust fans I purchased were larger than the opening, so dry wall was cut. Also, I wasn't expecting that they needed to go into the attic, though, but again this did not pose a problem. Because of the cut drywall and going into the attic, there was more debris than expected. They both cleaned up, however I did have to go over those areas again for the remnants. Overall, I would definitely use this company again
