Once the big deal was purchased, the service provider was prompt (within 48 hours) of making contact with me. We agreed upon the date and time. I spoke with Timothy one more time before the scheduled date. Service was reserved for 2p on Sunday, Feb. 9. At 215p on Sunday, I called and got voicemail leaving a message to reconfirm the start time of 2p and left my phone number. Approx. 6p or so, I got a call from Timothy. "I received a missed call from this number. Can I help you?" I told him he was scheduled to do electrical work at my house at 2p. He said he called twice that morning and noone answered. He verified the phone number and it was incorrect. He first said that was the number he got from Angie's List. I begged to differ with him as I told him he had called me twice prior to the 9th of February, using my home number. He apologized and offered to come right then to do the work. I accepted his apology but declined the offer.

purchased big deal on angies list; contacted by paradise shortly thereafter and was able to get on their schedule the next week; the morning of the apt. they called to confirm and then showed up right at the scheduled 9am time (which was super since i had taken off work to meet them); they were super friendly and helpful - i had started to install the new fan myself, but when i saw there were 4 wires, all of them unmarked sine the house is older, i decided it was time to get some help - and were able to install the new fan and "undo" my electrical mistakes. definitely would use them for electrical work in the future

Timothy was diligent about contact me to schedule the services I bought through the Deal, and was flexible in terms of scheduling, in the end agreeing to come by on a Sunday morning. He worked quickly and efficiently, identifying options that would work, and drilling through the sheetrock and brick of my home to place the box appropriately. He even replaced an old, outdated outlet free of charge. I'd be happy to use him again for additional electrical work I need done in my 90-year-old home!

The electrician, Mr Eddings, arrived as scheduled at 08:00 and reviewed the work: removing the wire and capping it within the ceiling of the basement apartment. He said it would be no problem to do the work within the voucher price ($99) and quoted me an additional $110 to "wall fish" a wire down from the attic into an upstairs bedroom to install a new legal outlet instead of the illegal and dangerous wire running up the front of my house. As the wall I chose for the new outlet was an exterior wall with brick behind the plaster, Eddings had to use a masonry saw blade to score the edges of a shallow trench in the wall in which to run the wire from the attic for the new outlet. The work required running to the hardware store and in total he spent almost four hours at my house. The work was done very professionally and not only did he use plastic sheeting to catch the dust and debris, he cleaned up extremely well when finished -- even got down on his hands and knees to wipe down the floor with a wet rag to pick up any dust (much appreciated). I got two projects completed (removing the wire outside and adding a new outlet in the bedroom) by a professional electrician that required fours hours of work for $209--amazingly good value for money. Timothy Eddings of Paradise Construction called me the day after purchase of the Deal of the Day and was kind enough to expedite service because of family I have arriving this week and my need for a light fixture in that bathroom. He suggested 8:00 this morning. He and his team arrived on time and went right to work. They were done by 10:30 a.m. and I was a happy customer. I was impressed they were kind enough to remove their shoes without request and left everything clean and ready to use. Timothy suggested I update my bathroom sockets which I will do. I will be happy to have Paradise Construction back to complete that project. They did a wonderful job and I will recommend them to anyone needing electrical service.

He called me and told me he operates on the east coast and doesn't service my area.

I provided my information on the order, including my 3 preferred dates. On 12/12/13 I was contacted by Paradise to provide my cell #. I replied. My last availability date (1/2/2014) I tried to call the provider, their phone not in service. I contacted Angie's List, the person who helped me tried to call also. Angie's List personnel are very helpful and professional. Apparently she could not reach them either.

Tim was very proactive in scheduling the install, which I appreciated. The project took longer than expected because he had to leave twice to get parts, but his professionalism and friendliness made up for it. I've actually reached out to him to come back for another minor project.

Tim Eddings came out and did a terrific job. While he was here I asked him to check another outlet that sparked. He was very patient and looked at it thoroughly. He then left to get the part and came back to finish the job. He was wonderful and I have nothing but great things to say about his service. I would highly recommend him and definitely use his service again.

The service was good and I have no complaints. Scheduling was extremely easy and he came on time. The only concern is he did not put it into conduit. I would have expected it to go into conduit instead of loose wiring. I wish they would have explained that originally. He had a lot of work to do and did not charge me any additional for the service.

He was courteous, professional, fast with what he was doing. The price is really good. He did everything I had asked including figuring out some problems and fixing them! The total job cost $500. I would hire him again!
