The place is a bit hard to find. But when I scheduled the appointment, they told me to about it ahead of time. When I entered I was a bit confused because the reception area was about 20 feet to the right of the door. That said, my experience couldn't have been better. The reception and waiting area was clean and didn't smell. They had contacted my previous vet and had my dog's records when we arrived. We didn't have to wait long. They offered to cut her nails, which was very nice. The doctor was very professional and when I asked a question about my dog's medical history, she knew about it. She had read the file before hand. That was surprising and very good. The doctor took time with my dog and with me, explaining the treatment option and follow up.
The cost was a bit high, but since the service was so good. It was worth it.

I have a cat that had been sick for about three months and the Vet that I was taking him to was not able to diagnose what was wrong and help him so I decided to get another opinion. I called Davis Companion Hospital and Sara made sure that Benjii saw Dr. Davis at the first opporunity fitting us in between appointments though she did tell us we might have to wait. We waited all of ten minutes and Dr. Davis thoroughly examined Benjii and had the staff get the records from the previous Vet, he took at least a half hour or more with us. He changed Benjii's Antibiotic and explained to us what we were up against. He kept in touch with us all weekend answering our questions and reassuring us. Benjii is now on a third Antibiotic and is finally after months responding and much better. I can't say enough about Dr. Davis and his kindness and perserverence. He is a very experienced and knowledgeable Vet and truly cares about the animals he is treating and my only regret is that I didn't bring Benjii to him in the first place. He also has a truly wonderful, caring and knowledgeable Staff, thank you so much, Sara, Clara and Jess.

Outstanding! On a Sunday night, my dog was bitten on the shoulder by another dog and had what appeared to be a small wound but was not putting any weight on her leg. That Sunday, I took her to an emergency clinic. They told me she had permanent nerve damage, and offered "elective" surgery to close the wound and giving me an estimate of $2500.

In stark contrast to the emergency clinic, gave me an appointment first thing Monday morning. Dr. Cilella at Davis gave a thorough, gentle office exam, identified and outlined the options (including no surgergy) and gave his recommendation. I followed that recommendation, and they performed surgery on my dog that day. She has made a complete recovery with no nerve damage! She is as good as new.

Davis has a compassionate and talented staff who treat their animal patients as they would their own. Davis understands financial concerns as well and offers options that cover the spectrum of expense, offering honest advice about the likelihood of success of the treatment. I am absolutely delighted with the care my pets receive at Davis, and I appreciate that the staff treats its human clients with respect, care and outstanding customer service.

I have used several vets in the area over the last several years and Davis is by far the best! From diagnosing challenging ailments to compassionate, effective and cost-sensitive treatments, this group is exceptional!

We have been using Dr. Cellela at Davis Companion hospital for 11 years and they are by far the best vets I have used. When our dog died this summer they were wonderful and gave us great advice and helped us through a very difficult time. When we picked up his ashes they had taken a clay print of his paw which means the world to me. The place is incredibly clean and up to date. We are always able to get an appointment quickly although sometimes we do have to wait to be seen. I can't imagine using another vet.

They're great. Very professional and knowledgeable. I was concerned about the anesthesia, so they tried to do the teeth-cleaning without it. Work on a case by case basis. They were very willing to work with me to come up with a better solution. These people are REAL animal lovers.
