"This client hired us for asphalt paving in 2015. Scope of the project : two properties, each with an individual driveway. Properties are next to each other. Because it was so close to the end of the season and also because of weather concerns, client and Crestwood agreed to do this project in two parts - first part in late 2015 and second in the summer of 2016. The first part of the project was to provide a binder course for both properties so the client could obtain necessary Certificate of Occupancy for the properties. This was done in December 2015 without any problems at a cost of $14,350. The second part was the finish course for both driveways. This was done on 07/19/2016. The first driveway was paved without a problem in the morning ( "green house"). The second driveway ( "tan house"), was done in the afternoon. The client felt that the quality of the asphalt was not up to par after completion on the "tan house". When client called me with his concerns, I advised that we would follow up with the asphalt company - which we did. WE DO NOT manufacture the asphalt, we only install it. The asphalt company visited the property and found nothing wrong with their product, however, they did give us a credit, which was given to the insured as part of our plan to try to make the client happy. The following was done: Crestwood went back to property to repair the areas that the insured felt were not up to standard due to the quality of the asphalt. Those areas were saw-cut and repaved. But while there, we also fixed other areas for the client due to his negligence of not following instruction on how deal with a new driveway which is clearly provided on our care guide. These include: a trampoline, grease from a BBQ grill, chair marks and holes, tire marks. Asphalt takes time to cure and on especially hot days, extra care should be taken. We also agreed in writing to "seal coat" the driveway by the end of 2016, but we were not able get there in time because of the following - new asphalt needs to cure for 6- 12 months before sealing and the weather (late December). Client knew we would have sealed his driveway even in 2017 if we had to. The total price for this project was $13,620. The "green house" was priced at $6,200.00. The "tan house" at $7,420.0 with an asphalt credit of $860.00, additional areas paved without charge and an additional warranty to seal the driveway at our expense (estimated at $1,002.75) for a final payment of $12,760. This was a "materials" problem and not a craftsmanship problem. Crestwood did everything possible to resolve the situation in a professional and accommodating manner and regret that there is nothing else we can do that will satisfy this customer."

Knowing that we had a contract we trusted him to show in the spring time. Months went by and he did not show so we decided to call him in September. We told him to come over and finish repairing the driveway that he owed us per his contract and he said, "I don't owe you anthing".
This company is not trustworthy, very unprofessional, and not dependable at all.
"Mr. (removed member name) decided to connect new drainage pipe to an old existing Orangeburg pipe rather than replace the Orangeburg pipe with new PVC pipe as it was discussed on the first visit. The Orangeburg pipe obviously failed with roots growing thru it causing the water to back up and separate the connection which then caused the system to fail. Now discussing construction 101, a fernco fitting is used to connect PVC pipe to older larger Orangeburg pipes. Fernco fittings are not used to connect PVC pipes together and they cannot be installed "backwards" as he is stating. We would be glad to provide a fernco so that it might be examined by by someone would readily see its limitations. Mr. (removed member name) had "Carmine" dig up the failed connection which he blamed on us, however the blame belongs on him for not replacing the Orangeburg pipe that ran to the back of his property. The Orangeburg pipe collapsed because roots grew thru it. Roots do not grow thru PVC pipe. This was clearly not a wise choice on his part. He called me requesting that I meet with him at the site to talk. I met with him. He assured me that the drainage was working again as it did for over a year after we paved the driveway 6 years prior (2007). He then told me that I owed him a new driveway. After some arguing I agreed to tear out and repave the driveway. I suggested that we split the cost of material and that a binder course be installed in case the drainage failed over the winter of 2013-2014. I agreed to then pave a course of asphalt in the spring-summer of 2014 if all went well. It did not. The drainage repair that "Carmine and Joe" did failed and the driveway binder course broke up. At this point Mr. (removed member name) began to call me telling me that I owed him a new drainage system, to dig out 1 foot deep and replace with new gravel and crushed stone below the gravel as well as repave the entire driveway at Crestwood's expense. I told him that he needed to hire an engineer to draw up a plan to solve the drainage issue caused by the builder filling in a swamp where Mr. (removed member name) decided to build his house. Crestwood went above and beyond to resolve this issue and to replace a driveway that was completed six years prior, not in November 2013 as he is stating. Crestwood advised Mr. (removed member name) to do the project correctly from the beginning, but he did not want to do that. Maybe this is where he rated us a "C" in price where he thought he was getting a deal. The total price of the job was $10,000 in 2007 when if done properly would have been way more than that. We did charge Mr. (removed member name) $600.00 to repair the clogged damaged pipe in January 2009. Our warranty with Mr. (removed member name) was properly executed above and beyond industry standards. We wish Mr. (removed member name) the best of luck with his future construction projects and to any contractor that works with him. Documents are available for review upon request at [email protected]."

The end product came out excellent and we were then able to have them continue on with a foundation drainage issue that we were in desperate need to get fixed.
They were on time and on budget even with the extra sub material needed in the driveway. I would highly recommend their services.
