I didn't know Billy would use a grout that absorbs wayer when I hired him. I called him and asked if he would come back and seal it at no extra charge. He didn't agree to that. He said it will only absorb 5% of the water and it's anti microbial. 5% of a 7-10 minute shower is a lot of water. Also, what's behind the grout is not anti microbial. I'm dissatisfied with the work. He shoukd have told me what he was going to use so I could have made an informed decision. He should have used an epoxy grout.

This job could have run hundreds or even thousands of dollars depending upon the solution. Billy believed he could seal the tiles via caulking (less expensive route) rather than replacing them. BHI Tile did a terrific job fixing significant mold issues we had in two bathrooms – in a tub-shower and in a Fiberglass shower stall – and replacing eroded caulking at the base of kitchen backsplash tile along a counter. Less than 24 hours after I contacted him, Billy Henderson came to our home to survey our problems. Removal and replacement of old, moldy caulk from the tub would be straightforward he explained, as would replacement of the kitchen caulking that had been poorly done by an earlier, different contractor. His careful inspection of the shower stall, which had been installed years before we owned the house, revealed a more complicated problem of mold hidden behind portions of the overlapping Fiberglass walls (due to gaps left during careless installation). Billy explained the problem carefully, and then explained the steps he would take to solve it – first using steam cleaning between the two layers of Fiberglass panels where the mold had grown, and then – after allowing time for drying -- carefully sealing the gaps and seams that had allowed the problem to develop in the first place. The price he quoted was very fair, and we asked him to go ahead as soon as he could. He kindly agreed to come two days later at 8 a.m. He arrived precisely on time and immediately set to work. By about 11:30 that morning he had finished the job. The tub looks great. The seam where the kitchen counter meets the tile backsplash is now properly sealed and protected from water intrusion. And the shower stall is properly fixed: newly steam-cleaned, dried, and now fully caulked in all the places that had let moisture accumulate and mold sprout. The work was done by the time Billy had predicted, the areas where he had worked were carefully cleaned up, and the cost was exactly what he had quoted to us when he first came to see the problems. We couldn’t ask for a better job! We will certainly look to Billy Henderson for future needs!

Billy was very helpful and offered much needed advice. I supplied the tile and he took it from there. He is very calm and wasn't even phased when all behind the tiles was moldy and gross. He also had many helpful suggestions about soap dishes, a cubby, tile positioning and ways to make the bathroom look bigger. Great professional!

Billy did a great job... from the original visit to scope and estimate the job... to finishing the work in less than a day.  
He removed and replaced the original contractor's sloppy grout that had allowed water to leak behind the tiles and damage a few.  He also removed and replaced the sloppy "emergency" caulking I had done to in order to stop leaking from the shower floor (through the downstairs ceiling).  He also cut and installed several new tiles to match the old tiles that needed to be removed.
His work was excellent in every way.  He honored his original quote. He provides a one year guarantee of his work.  
I don't have a single complaint nor concern.  He is professional, knows what he was doing, and is very easy to work with.
I recommend him highly and wouldn't think twice about using him again.

I contacted Bill from BHI Tile for a bathroom upgrade project. Bill was pleasant and easy to work with during my bathroom renovation project.  Bill was highly recommended by another contractor I used last year for my main bathroom renovation project. I contacted Bill and he came over to look at the tile project and gave me a fair estimate. I purchased the tiles and Bill installed them and replaced several broken tiles in my shower stall as well. My wife and I were extremely pleased with the finished tile floor and shower tile project. Billy was AWESOME. We've worked with about a dozen different companies and contractors this summer as we've been renovating our fixer-upper and Billy was the absolute best we've worked with by far. We contacted 4 or 5 tile contractors and Billy was the most responsive and professional, and he gave the best quote. Our job was a little more complicated than he originally estimated, but he didn't change the quote an did a beautiful job. He even saved us some money by cutting some tiles for another project for us and using his own grout and sealer.
