I didn't have a good experience with them. For example, in the bathroom, there was some talk with experts on fixing your house for elderly people, I think they're called aging in place. There was some conversation about where exactly to put the toilet. Until that, I put a paper on the floor and wrote do not put the hole in the floor for the toilet until you get the okay by me. They came out one day and put the hole in the floor in the wrong place. They had to come back out and replace it to the correct place. They installed a big handicapped shower unit, which was one piece. I don't think they had seen anything like this and had no experience doing it. There were a couple of problems, they didn't do the installation right. He tried to charge me extra for insulating the hot water piper that go in the crawl space under the addition. I challenged him on that because early on in conversations he said it was code and part of the original price.

Both situations were fixed. This happened at a time when I had recently come home from the hospital from a cardiac arrest and my husband had broken his ankle so we really needed this fixed. Tiffany really went out of her way to accommodate us when she heard our situation, despite the fact that it had been snowing and they were inundated with calls. The plumber showed up as soon as he could, fixed the problem quickly and cleaned up after himself. Highly recommend this company!

He arrived one hour late, but was very pleasant and courteous. Went right to work and completed the work quickly. We have no complaints there. However, the price charged was much higher than it should have been according to my research. He originally said it would be about $150, but had to call the office for verification. He then told us it would be $225 ($75 higher than the highest price I've seen for this type of work). We are very disappointed because they are local and we would like to have used them in the future.

We purchased a new refrigerator.  Before its arrival, we decided to upgrade the water line for the ice maker.  Originally, we had a ¼ inch copper tube tapped into a cold water pipe in the basement, running through a hole in the floor to the kitchen behind the refrigerator.  But, the instructions from the refrigerator company said they would only connect the ice maker if there were a shutoff valve directly behind the refrigerator.

Based on their excellent Angie?s List reviews and some work they had done previously, I contracted over the phone with Nunes to make the change.  Since their business is affected by emergencies, they could only give me a tentative date and time, but Albert Nunes arrived at this time nevertheless.  We decided to replace the copper tube with a standard ½? copper pipe leading to a ¼ turn shutoff valve behind the refrigerator.  Then a flexible stainless steel hose was connected between the refrigerator and the shutoff valve.  The job was bigger than the ball park estimate that I was given over the phone, sight-unseen, but they stuck to their original estimate.

Nunes uses state-of-the-art Propress connectors that are crimped to the pipe rather than soldered.  When I checked on-line, these connectors have great reviews.  They greatly reduce the complexity and time required to route pipe.  I would have no concern about scorching or burning the house, since no soldering is required.  While the house was drained down, I asked Albert to also install two new shutoff valves elsewhere, and they were able to do this quickly and at a reasonable add-on price.

Albert did a great job.  He worked with me to understand my requirements and advise me.  He did the job thoroughly and carefully, testing his work and cleaning up everywhere as he went.  I was very pleased with his work.  I would hire them again.

I called late in the day but he was here by noon the next day. There was an obvious hole in the pipe underneath the sink drain. He checked the other sink and that was full of rust. He replaced the plumbing for both sinks.

THe first visit was to install the new piping, connect the stove and have the inspection completed. I asked the owner to use threaded steel pipe which is much more work than TracPipe but was what I wanted.

The plumber showed up on time, worked very hard installing the steel pipe and was finished with his work and pressure test just as the inspector and gas company arrived. The stove was working by 3 o'clock that afternoon.

About a month later I asked them to return and connect the boiler. The experence was exactly the same, first rate.
