DAY HILL KENNEL

I have used them since 1967. I like that they are locally owned. They are nice to work with. They now have a doggie day care.

They look for me and they know that I am coming. They know that I cannot walk very well so they will come to the car to get him and bring him back out when he?s done. I hand them the credit card, they go back inside to run the card, then come back to sign the receipt. I drop him off in the morning and then come and pick him up in the afternoon.
Sometimes I will send him to the doggie day care afterwards. They are very punctual. He loved it when one lady would make a fuss over him. He goes in and likes to sniff around.

It did not go well my dog came back skinny and unhappy. She was there for a little under 2 weeks.

We dropped her off at the end of November and picked her up in the middle of December. She was kenneled there and she also had a daily walk or play time and they bathed her the last day. She seemed very happy. She was well taken care of. She was healthy when we dropped her off and healthy when we picked her up. The staff seemed really caring and seemed to love the animals. It seems calm when you bring your animals to drop them off. They are not all rattled or barking. The animals seem to enjoy it there.

Very well as usual. We have used Day Hill for boarding as well as grooming and our dog doesn't mind going there.
Other groomers he would sit and not go in the door, but never did that at Day Hill.
The groomer kept records of how we liked him clipped so his hair cuts would be consistent. Makes it easy as I don't have to explain each time I drop him off.
They estimate when he'll be ready for pick up and have always been reliable.

They really care about the animals and it clearly shows. It was very easy to drop them off, receiving a thorough tour of the kennel/space, and received an email confirmation that they received my dogs records and they were happy. Pickup was easy and the dogs were clean and smelled great. We will absolutely be back!

We felt Day Hill Kennels would be the perfect fit for our little mister. Our dog is a rescue so he has some baggage.He does not get along well with other dogs,but does get along with people on a one -on-one basis. He is a cuddler and a teddy bear in the house,but get him outside his personality changes. Soooo..we needed a kennel that would customize services for him that fit his behavior. Day Hill Kennels was more than accomodating based on his needs.Day Hill had no problem with us bringing his own food and snacks. He had his own room and there was no problem with us bringing his favorite toys and and blanket. We made arrangements for him to be exercised/walked every day. When we picked him up he was himself and had no anxiety. The base service starts at $26 then we added extras.
If your dog is your baby DO consider Day Hill Kennels and DON'T be afraid to ask questions or make requests they are very nice and accomodating there.
It is hard to leave our dog, but if we had to do It again we would not hesitate to use Day Hill Kennels. They were great!!!!!!!!

I liked the job they did. I don't really know a lot about them. I am pleased with the work and the price. I had gone to someone else and it was $70 which was ridiculous. They also have dog boarding, but I have not used that. I am happy with the price and the service and they are close to my house. My husband loves them so I would say they are professional and personable.

Very easy to schedule or cancel a booking on the phone without any extra cancellation fees. We only used Day Hill for overnight and since we picked up after noon the next day it was an extra day charge. But they did tell me if we didn't make it in at 5pm I could pick up before noon the next day without any additional charges which is a bonus if you are running late. Very nice staff, very clean and nice looking kennel. Alot better then the one I had seen before. I didn't see the actual kennel where the dogs were kept, but they do have access to an outdoor run area. I brought a dog bed for my dog and they had no problem letting him have in it in his room. When we picked him up he seemed fine. Very thirsty which was expected, and tired bc I'm sure he didn't sleep just kept alert the whole time. But for the kennel for the short time it was cheap and impressive. I would use them again if we go away.

I would highly recommend them. We started with them when they had a barn and they now have a beautiful facility. They have all kinds of things. My dog cries that he has to leave when we go to pick him up. He gets so excited when he goes because there are so many dogs there and they are allowed to play together. They are wonderful and I highly recommend them. They call us if anything goes wrong. They will walk your dog. They always try to accommodate you on whatever you want. They have a day care and you can have your dog in day care. They have huge cages and indoor and outdoor kennels. It is a family-owned business and it is just really good. My dog loves to go there.

As is the case with you, our pet is a member of the family. Before our retirements in 2008, we visited every animal boarding facility within a reasonable drive from our home. Day Hill Kennels was head and shoulders above the rest -- in cleanliness, professionalism, the facility itself and, most of all, the genuinely caring staff and owners. We would not consider bringing our cat to anyone else.

AWEFUL FACILITY ! ! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR DOG'S TIME ! ! I have brought my dog to this facility a few times, as it is convienant to my location. Everytime I pick him up I have issues. The have attempted to charged for nail clippings that they did not do (but were supposed to), the blatently disregard my reqests for grooming, the dog comes out dirtier than I would ever let him get, one time they actually gave him back to me with dog f**** on his coat. You cannot leave your dog there overnight on Saturday as they will charge you for two nights (they know they have you, and make sure to take full advantage of that fact). It is a clean looking facility from the outside, but they way my pet comes out I doubt they really take the time or effort to keep the inside up the way they should. You also have to question the fact that if they try to charge for things they do not do, and you can see they do not do (nail clippings for example), what makes you think they actually do what they "say" they are going to do. How do you know you actually get the extra dogs walks, or playtimes that you pay extra for? I will not be bringing my dog back to this facility ever again, and I would seriously encourage anyone else to consider this kennel before leaving you pet there. DREADFUL........

We have a Norwegian Elkhound, a rescue dog that is not very well "socialized" - either with people or other animals. We take her to Day Hill Kennel every other month for grooming and board her there whenever we travel. The staff is always positive about having her there and know her well enough now to know how to handle her. Our dog always returns in wonderful condition.

We are very pleased with our experiences with Day Hill. We have boarded our mini-poodle on a couple occasions. We were nervous the first time, but it seemed to go really well. We continue to use Day Hill whenever we go out of town. We appreciate the extra services that are offered like walks and play time. The staff is really friendly and they really enjoy what they do.

Dasher loves to go to the Kennel; check-in was easy, they accommodated his extra "puppy feeding" and he seemed to get great care.

Dropped off my 2 cats before going on vacation. Pleasant check in and check out. No problems.

Outstanding caring work. Helpful and accommodating for issues and special handling. They seem to care as much for our animals as we do. We love them.
