They were also ill-prepared and used utility pumps that I had purchased to drain water from the hole as they dug the sump. The water was loaded with sand and dirt, and two of the utility pumps were damaged and now unusable as a result.
They returned to address my concerns but chose to do nothing. We fortunately did not agree to their upsell for a complete internal curtain drain, which was not, in the end, required.
