If I'm quick to complain I should be just as quick to praise. The repair man Steve Ungar was absolutely fabulous!! He was knowledgeable and informative. I highly recommend him. We are very pleased. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Two HVAC pros spent a total of like 7 hours at my house to fix a heating issue. Turns out it was a blown fuse - very rare. Tech suggested I replace the entire board as well for $175 whelp...

I do not have a problem with the work that HARP did. I do, however, have a problem with the price. I was grossly overcharged for a simple plumbing job. I talked to several other plumbers after the job was completed and they all informed me that I was grossly overcharged. I was charged almost 500 dollars to unhook a kitchen sink and to replace a valve. I was shocked at the price and will never use HARP again, nor would I recommend them.

My AC was not working. I called and they came quickly. Nice. He discovered the problem .....twas a bug!!!! While he was here, I had him service the AC and he washed the coils, I think they're called. All is working beautifully as we speak. I'm so grateful there's a Harp Service. Thank you Barry.

I have been using the harp for the past 15 to 18 years. When they show up they do a good job. The problem is I made an appointment in late Jan or early Feb of 2022 to have my air conditioning tuned up for today May 22nd and 2022 and they decided to give me July 5 appointment which is in 6 weeks which is unacceptable. They did the same thing to me when I had an appointment in Sept of 2021 to have a tune-up for heating and canceled me and pushed the Appointment to mid early Feb. of 2022. Then they wanted me to do my air conditioning tune-up in April which was to soon and already had paid for a new filter in it. I change my filter every 6 months not every 2 months. The filter cost me $54.00. Harp. Has . pattern of making appointments And then cancelling on me. Harp claims they called me and left a message. Problem they have is that my . landline and mailbox is full and has been for 4 years ever since I switched from Comcast to Frontier and the cable company could not delete the messages. therefore you cannot leave a message They have my cell phone and I did not get a call if in fact they did call. They also have my email and did not get a text or email. Called a competitor and they will be out on wednesday this being Monday. I like Harp and the techs but when you make an appointment 3 months ahead they should keep it . By the way they never even gave me a reason or apology why they could not come just that they called .Bad way to treat Customers. Excuses are lame . This is a pattern and they do not keep the scheduled original Appointment that was set in stone by them and myself. Certainly not Happy. They claim if they do t show up it is free. Was not even mentioned .So it was a $69.00 tune up and I guess it was not worth there time but they sure Do respond when you give them compliments which I did previously in my last review last year.in which the owner thanked me . Not keeping appointments when originally scheduled is bad business and is unprofessional. Try doing that to a Doctor and you get billed $75.00. You wasted my time and Day . Thanks Harp. I treated you well, paid my bills and gave you business. All I got was it is not there fault. Yes it is .. I have email cell phone and text.

I hired them to clean the boiler but because of there insurance liability they could not remove the top plate of the furnace to clean the heat exchanger. They wanted to sell me a new boiler How Sad they did return my money after telling them I will go through capital one to dispute the charge.

We had a split air conditioning system installed. Everyone was very professional and they were very careful to clean up everything. We will definitely call them again to replace a 40 year old boiler.

The tech that came out was good, but I have a feeling that he is partially commissioned-based. The reason is that he showed me, in real-time, some corrosion that my furnace has. He told me that there was a CO hazard as a result and had me sign a slew of documents that would hold HARP harmless if I turned the furnace back on and my family was injured as a result. His advice was, rather than replace the $3700 part and potentially have to replace the connected $3700 part, it would be most optimal to replace the whole unit for about $8200. Because I was properly concerned, after he left, I immediately went to the towns hardware store and bought 3 new CO detectors. While there, I asked the owner if he could recommend an HVAC person that might be able to give me a second opinion. 2 days later, that tech came out and spent about 1.5 hours going over the unit from top to bottom. His findings: Its an 11 year old unit that, besides some expected corrosion where the burners were near the metal brackets, the unit was in very good shape overall. So, including the CO detectors, I ended up spending $450 - which, I guess, is better than wasting $8200 on a unit that I did not need.
