It went great. Technicians Gustavo and Sebastian were right on time. Found the issue and related everything to my husband professionally.

$22,697
On 6/26/24 I received a $22,697 proposal from Aiello to install a new second floor air conditioning system in my house. The proposal called for the installation of a “Mitsubishi 4-Ton Hyper-heating Multi-Zone Heat Pump” and related handlers. The model numbers and related AHRI certificate numbers were clearly specified. I accepted the offer and the executed a Sales Agreement specifying the same AHRI number on 7/1/24. Although most of the work was done on 7/19, several small jobs were not completed until 11/1 after multiple emails, texts, phone calls, and no-shows. I finally received an invoice on 11/21 (dated 7/19) which specified the AHRI number and model numbers as specified in the proposal. Unfortunately, my application for the Energize CT rebate (a major item in the sales pitch) continually bounced because the model numbers of the equipment actually installed were not consistent with the AHRI numbers and model numbers in the Aiello documentation. I discovered that Aiello had actually installed a different, inferior heat pump without the hyper-heating feature, which was meant to lower energy usage and eliminate the need for summer air conditioning. I brought this to Aiello’s attention many times, but they have not been willing to provide the documents I need to receive the $3,000 CT credit, and this may also affect my federal tax credit. During the course of the installation, Aiello, for some unknown reason, also ripped out my three-year-old, perfectly functioning first floor air conditioner. By the time that I found out about this, they had installed a replacement without ever explaining whether or not it was actually equivalent to the property they destroyed. This foul-up may be due to simple incompetence, or it may be an intentional misrepresentation in the course of a “bait and switch” operation. Aiello’s sluggish, grudging unwillingness to handle this situation has led me to ask for a substantial refund. These are dangerous people to deal with.

Anthony arrived timely, inspected and tuned up my HVAC system. I was extremely pleased as this was the first time any technician has spent the time to go over photographs he took while performing the tune up and explain how my system actually works and how to better care for my air conditioner outside.

It used to be a thieft comes into your home with a gun, not anymore. They carry a faucet wrench and a tag that says Aiello. To replace a plastic pipe under the sink $550.00. To replace a kitchen faucet $835.00. These jobs together took a total of one hour. Plastic pipe cost $30.00, faucet $175.00. Total charge was $1,400.00. $205.00 for parts, $1,195.00 for labor. If this plumber works a 40 hour week he would earn $45,000.00 in a five day week. No doctor, lawyer, or president of the United States make this much. An hourly plumber's rate in Connecticut is $200.00 per hour; Aiello is gouging the public. Aiello's pricing is insanity. Some official needs to review their pricing.

Spartak M was my plumbing technician for a job that turned out to be much more complicated than expected -- a leaking toilet that once removed revealed rotted wood and extra open space below the flange. Spartak worked continuously for 4 hours to open the ceiling from below, install additional two-by-fours, replace the flange, and replace the seal. He also replaced the leaky water valves on my sink even though they were very close to the wall and difficult to access. He explained every step to me and was very friendly. I was very happy with the service I received.

Aiello Home Service was appointed by Energize CT to do home energy Audit. During the audit they taped our custom wooden floor vent outlets, ripping from the floor the top protection resulting in damaging the floor vents. They replaced some LED lights as part of the audit and broke an expensive ceiling light fixture. Furthermore, they did not even complete the audit. After many reminders, one Aiello Home Service manager showed up with his crew. They acknowledged and confirmed the damages caused by Aiello crew during the audit. Aiello Manager promised he would send another crew to fix the damages and follow up to complete the energy audit. I have tried to contact them multiple times with no response to address my damages. I am VERY disappointed with their unprofessional staff and service and with no response to address the damages done by Aiello Home Service crew for more than 1 year now.

Our furnace failed completely in November 2017 setting off our COM sensors and sending alarms to the fire department. I called several different resources to try and find a solution and finally settled on Aiello. They were fast, knowledgeable and professional. They explained things so we could make the best choices and when there was a miscommunication theyade it right. So when our AC failed during the hottest time of the year I called them again. They were prompt, easy to work with and fair in price. Our house have never felt so warm when needed or cool when needed. And it's done right and looks good. I would recommend them and will be using them again.

I called them and TOLD them that my sewer line was backed up. They rolled out and showed up on time (points!), but then proceeded to quote me $1100 to scope and snake the sewer main... I said no (new that was too much). I then needed to shell out $49 just because they showed up to give me the unreasonable quote... for a service I knew I needed. It's not like they troubleshot an issue and identified something that needed to be done. They showed up, saw that I correctly identified a backed up sewer main and then charged me $49 to tell me I was right. It took me 10 min of calling other plumbing companies to get 3 quote all under $700 for the same service. I had used Aiello at a previous home before and assumed they were above board... turns out I shouldn't have given them the benefit of the doubt: their new business model seems to be show up, quote hundreds of dollars more than the service is worth, either they get to bilk you or they can roll back out 10 min later with $50!

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!! I wish I had read the reviews prior to calling Aiello, but a friend said she uses them and I wanted my "ghost flushing" toilets fixed ASAP. I should have known that they would charge an exorbitant fee when they wouldn't quote me a price over the phone even though I knew what the problem was. Instead, I agreed to the $49 service call fee expecting to pay slightly more for the convenience of them being able to come out to my home sooner than my regular plumber. When the Aiello technician came to the house, he quoted me $750.64 or $1105.15 depending on which repair I went with, just the fill valve and flapper repair on both toilets, or a total rebuild on one toilet in addition to the work on the second toilet. The technician also gave me some garbage about how I have to use Kohler parts, not just any old part from the hardware store. I was flabbergasted by the exorbitant fee the technician quoted me to make 2 simple toilet repairs. I paid the service fee and sent the technician away. I waited the few extra days to have my regular plumber fix the problems. He was here today. I paid $160, which is what I expected (1 hour labor at $135 plus a few simple parts). Shame on Aiello for having the gall to charge someone so much money for such a simple fix. I'm also upset that they got $49 out of me. Never again with this company.

They come twice a year to do the heating and air conditioning. It's a regular thing I have with them. I have a contract with them. They do my air conditioning in the Spring time and the heating in the Fall. It's automatic billing to my charge card.

Had general service. Technician reported heat exchanger cracked. Firm provided estimates for replacement of furnace, etc. Subsequent 2nd and 3rd opinions by credible service companies found no problem with heat exchanger or furnace. This including the gas company which does not sell or install but tested for CO and found ZERO problem. False diagnosis by the company subject of this review.

Charged as much for drain down and purge as it cost for purging steam radiators. Massively different job. I was in an emergency situation with an appraiser coming to my home in 2 days and I feel VERY taken advantage of. They had to come to my home twice because the job was not done correctly the first time and I had no heat afterward. They initially tried to charge me for the whole drain and purge a second time. Found out later local plumber would have done the same work for $800 and I paid $1400.

It is a big plumbing company here in Connecticut. Services that are included with the charge are having 24 hour a day service every day. This covers any type of plumbing, like, pipes leaking and my furnaces if there is a problem with the heat, that kind of thing. They are reliable and have been in business a long time. Every plumber that has ever come here has been extremely knowledgeable. They don't take advantage of you. One time my heat was not working upstairs, we have water running through the baseboard. It was winter and I got up and it was cold so I called them. He came right way, it was something with the thermostat on the actual boiler, but he said that you know, really, what he had to do was drain the water out of the system to fix this  they then he said really and truly there is probably a little leak  I did not think there was a leak and he said I would be surprised abut leaks in the baseboards. He could have charged me $400 to do that but he did not do that because he said it would probably not show up. We have never had any trouble after that. Some other guy could have said to me I had to do this then I would have done it because I would have been concerned that I would have a flood. I trust these people. Their quality is very good.

That's why I got a service contract with them because they are very reliable. I pay, I think, like, $8.75 a month and if I have something break, like on a Sunday morning it is, like, very reliable so I don't had have to think about it. It's like, it's a big company and they service their customers. They always give you, like, you know, every year they send out something that gives you like a 30-percent discount on certain things if you decide to upgrade or whatever. not that you do this all the time, but I just like it. I need to have somebody really reliable that I can call if I am in trouble with plumbing.
