+ -1 moreI hired Putnam's Landscaping to install plants and supply and install 33 yards of screened topsoil to grow grass for a new lawn. I paid Putnam's the agreed to amount believing they delivered the grade of topsoil I ordered. When the grass didn’t grow correctly, I realized that the topsoil Putnam's supplied was not screened and contained a tremendous amount of rocks. I literally removed 79 large buckets of rocks which was back breaking labor and knew I was nowhere near being finished. I emailed Grant at Putnam's and made him aware of the problem and requested that he correct the issues. His negative response was peppered with threats. My expectations of this company being one that is honest, stands by its products and values its customers were quickly diminished. Instead, I received aggressive and unprofessional behavior with unfounded threats directly from Grant. If you are considering doing business with Putnam's Landscaping think twice and find a more reputable landscaping company that stands by its products and values its customers.

Description of Work: Grant Putnam oversaw our landscaping, seeding, mulch, trimming as well as trees and plants. Excellent service and very attentive workforce. I would recommend them again and again.

Description of Work: I called Putnam landscaping and spoke to the owner. I explained that I needed the lawn cut and a spring clean up to begin with. I explained that I was late in starting this spring because I had construction that just finished. I also stated that I needed the driveway fixed up with new gravel. There was more, but he said he would call me back in about 10 to 15 minutes and make an appt with me, he said my number came thru on his phone and that he would definitely call me back shortly he just had to get to his desk. Never called! I called him a few days later and he hung up on me when I said my name.

Grant Putnam offers a FLAWLESS operation - think of all the adjectives that you can think you that are positive....and that describes Grant: Punctual, Responsive, Creative, Honest, Pleasant, 100% Reliable, Courteous etc etc etc I couldnt be happier with the work that he performs and I would urge you to look no further. He is awesome to work with and delivers what he promises. 1,000% satisfied

+ 0 moreGrant returned every call, always followed through completely, and even called back weeks after completion to make sure we were satisfied with job. He aand his workers wereprompt, clean and courteous.
Description of Work: Mainly bluestone walks. The stone mason was obviously talented as he took my design, and with slight modification, brought it up a notch in beauty. Small amount of landscaping.
