Not too good.

We had a great experience with David and Advanced Roofing. We had issues with ice dams this winter (who didn't) and we ended up with some leaks in the roof. David came out and did an inspection and told us that the roof on the rear of the house needed to be replaced. Although it took some time to schedule the work, once they came, everything was done in two days. This included removing the old roofing down to the deck, installing ice/water barriers, new copper flashing and replacing some cedar shingles. The work was top notch, and the new roof looks great. I thought the price was fair, especially as the quality of the work was so high. I would highly reccomend David and Advanced Roofing.

Great experience - owners and workers are very nice. They thoroughly explained the process and delivered on their promises. Scheduling was difficult due to all of the rain that we had in May and June, but once on-site they worked quickly and efficiently. The work they did is great and they stand behind it. I thought the price was very fair. The roofers were very polite and kind. They protected our house and belongings.

They cleaned up all the things themselves. They are doing exactly what they are supposed to be doing. Their price was fair. So far everything is going on well. I would rate them high overall. I would use them again in the future.

We called Advanced Roofing based on reviews here and on other sites. Since we had so much damage inside due to leaks caused by ice dams, we figured there must be roof and gutter repairs needed as well. Called, spoke with a real person, made an appointment and owner David Hand came on schedule. He spent quite a while inspecting the roof and gutters, and also explaining about our home in particular, why we had ice dams, and what we may consider doing in the future. Ultimately, he said we needed nothing done at this time. Now understand, it was clear that we had no knowledge of roofing at all, other than it was old but had passed the building inspection when we bought this house six years ago. David could have told us anything, but simply said there was nothing we had to repair. We will definitely call him when the time comes! Thank you, David Hand!

They did a great job. They were very professional and they cleaned up after themselves. Everything was really done very well. I was very happy with them. They are very reliable and responsive. They did what they said they were going to do. Everything was as they said it was going to be. They came when they said they were going to come and got it done. My roof looks excellent. I'm very happy with the job. They were great. From start to finish everybody were polite and very easy to work with. The price was appropriate for what was needed to be done. It was fair. I was very pleased with them. I would use them again in the future if required.

My experience with Advanced Roofing Co Inc was fine. The person who came out to do the estimate was good. He was prompt. He was very informative. I thought he quoted me a good price. I would probably use them in the future.

He was very good. The man who owns the company is David Hand. I had called in three to get the estimates and his was the lowest and he also did a great job. It doesn't leak anymore. My experience with him was very good. He told me what he was going to do and the reason why he was going to do it. He just proceeded with the work. It took him part of a day and not that long. It was the best price I got. I got one for $8000 and another over $4000 and David's was under $3000. The quality is very good because it's not leaking. He was very responsive. He came when he was and stayed as long as he said he was going to stay. His punctuality and professionalism were excellent. I would use him again in the future.

I met with the owner of the company for him to give me an estimate and he spent ample time with me explaining what he would do should he get the job. In fact, I learned a lot about roofs from him and was better able to review other roofers that came by to give me an estimate. I was able to take my time reviewing his estimate and comparing it to others. Several times I emailed him questions, asking him to explain differences in his estimate and others. He was always quick to respond. After much soul searching, I finally made a decision to go with Advanced Roofing. It took them a bit longer than I had hoped for them to get to my roof but he always stayed in touch. When they did finally get to me, they worked quickly and nothing stopped the progress. There were times that I thought it was too cold or that the weather would not permit them to work but they showed up anyway and finished the job before the first snow (whew!).

I called on Fri concerned about water coming in through my roof. They were easy to reach and accommodated my schedule for late Sat afternoon. They were friendly and thorough.

Dave was professional from start to finish. When he gave the estimate he described exactly what he'd have to do and that it was a particularly complicated job where the roof met the vinyl siding, which would require a good deal of care. HIs estimate wasn't the least expensive of the three I got but I trusted him to do the job properly so I went the Advanced Roofing over the other choices. The job was particularly messy but the crew did a fantastic job cleaning up each day, and when the job was completed. They were prompt to start each day and worked until it wasn't light enough to continue. The whole job took 5 days (1 more day than they'd anticipated), but the final result was well worth it. Roof looks great and I've got the peace of mind to know that the job was done professionally and correctly.

They didn't show up for the initial appointment. They came the following week and did not bring a ladder. He had to borrow my ladder to do the estimate. They were priced the highest out of all of the other estimates by about $1,000.00. He was supposed to come on a Friday, and did not come until the following Tuesday. I have a 1600 Sq. Ft. house and they gave me an estimate of $9500.00. It was a single layer tear off and replacement. The owner brought his kid with him and was teaching him the business. The other companies have called me back a couple of times and have offered price negotiations. I would not give them a recommendation based on their estimating.

I called Advanced Roofing to see if a missing shingle on our roof could be replaced. The person who answered the phone told me that they were busy with several large jobs right now but would definitely get back to me. The very next day David Hand came to our house and replaced the missing shingle as well as other shingles that were loose. David took the time to explain to us the condition of our roof. We were very pleased with his professionalism and willingness to help us even though it was a small job. We would definitely use Advanced Roofing again for both large and small jobs. We had an excellent experience from start to finish.

The work went flawlessly. Owner Dave Hand is an extremely nice person--very reasonable to deal with; wants to leave job so that customer is entirely satisfied; work crew exceptionally nice & cheerful; flawless work and very neat cleanup. Dave's wife, who handles billing end extremely pleasant to talk to. We truly could not have asked for a better experience in replacing our old roof!!!

They offer a higher quality than most people and they don't do short cuts. Their price was standard; they were right in the middle.

I checked on several different bids and they gave me the best price. They addressed concerns and we talked about all of the planning before the work was started. He even came over to inspect all of the materials that were delivered the night before they were scheduled to do the roof. They finished in just one day.
