The staff at Biggins took the vehicle in and told me it was unlikely to get to it that day but would get it on the schedule 7/3. They did that, called to tell me what exactly was wrong with the brakes, a brake cylinder had broke and leaked fluid on the shoes. They explained that they would change both cylinders as they functioned in pairs and the shoes would need replacing due to the fluid corruption. Also they warned me that they would be removing the brake lines and they may brake during the process so that would add $200 to the $250 estimate.
When I spoke to the staff end of day 4/3 I was told that everything was done and the price was in fact $250, the lines did not brake during the repair so no added charges.
I am impressed with the staff and service at Biggins, they were friendly, knowledgeable and delivered as promised. As a new client I was treated with respect and feel comfortable that I have found an auto service repair facility I can trust near my son's campus. When your child is driving an older car that may need repairs more often it is great to find an establishment you feel will take care of repairs professionally and at a fair price.
I love going to see these guys. They don't do things you don't need,
They don't charge you to look at the car either. Very honest.
