They came within one hour of our call. He knew exactly what the problem was. Unclogged the sink, and suggested tips to minimize this happening again including how long to leave water running when using the disposal. Was friendly and very knowledgable, and will definitely use them again.

After a poor and fraudulent experience with a different plumbing company, I called General Sewer and Drain to get a second opinion (I was suspect I was being mislead by the plumbing company) on what the prior plumber had told me they found (a blockage in my sewer line that would require excavation of my front lawn and replacement of the pipe).  Rich was very empathetic and sent his technician, Luis, out within the hour to my house.
Rich worked with the MDC, which the prior plumber would not do, and Luis stayed for the MDC inspector to arrive and witness the rodding.  They found no blockage and confirmed my suspicions that I was being mislead by the prior plumbing company.  Luis was very professional and courteous.
Overall great service!

Arrived on time, was friendly, worked quickly, and cleaned out the line for less than their estimate (and one-fourth the price that Roto Rooter had estimated).  All in all, went very well.  Will use again.

It was just past new year and we main drain was clogged.  Water started to backflew to the basement  and we were in panic mode.  We called several plumping services provider and they responded very quickly.  They hauled in some realy heavy duty gears and was able to push the drain train all the way out to about 70 feet to the street.  The job was done within 2 hours and they took great care in tidy up the place and took care not to conteminate the area.  Overall great job.  They price is cheaper than others in the area.  Highly recommended.

They asked when I wanted them to come, i told them and we met at the appointed time. I was actually late, but this guy knocked on the door and the tenant let them in. It took about 2 hours, the plumber was professional and was not at all bothered by me watching him work. He finished his work and I was satisfied that the bath tube and bathroom drain lines were clear. It was a good experience.  I thought the price was high, $25-50 less would have been more fair. The price rating reflects that..

Talked to Rich initally, who was very knowledgable and candid.  (His estimate over the phone ended up matching the actual charges at the end of the job, by the way.)  His serviceman Luis came on-time and snaked and flushed our Basement Footing drain in an attempt to solve our basement flooding problems.  Luis was also very knowledgable, professional, and informative.  Unfortunately, the drain pipes could not be fixed through snaking, but I thought the company's service was excellent anyway.

The job went very well overall. I had water backing up in my laundry room sink, in the washer, in the kitchen and side sinks and leaking from underneath.  I spoke with Rich and he sent out 2 experienced men who snaked the cast iron drain pipes in the basement and unclogged the drains.  They came upstairs and tested the sinks and waher to make sure everything was unclogged and told me what to do in the future to avoid another incident like this.  It was raining on this day and the men specifically asked if they could come in thru the hatchway as to not make a mess which was much appreciated.  I later called Rich to let him know that I was very happy with the service I received.

Company was personable, professional, and very thorough. Arrived within the hour of my call and went directly to work. Chiseled the main cap off which was stuck on since it's original installation in 52, and then removed the coiled snake which was stuck in the pipe directly at the opening. Job took about 30 minutes mainly because he could not screw the cap back on ...too much gunk in the threads. The cost also included a new cap as the old one was toast. He went through and described all the issues of how the water flows throughout the house and gave tips on how to diagnose issues in the future.
