Dryer Vent Wizard

I really had high hopes in this company. After spending a lengthy period of time in my house taking pictures and collecting dust. I was left with a hefty estimate and someone who clearly has no etiquette when entering someones home. I tried to overlook a lot especially as I watched him ridiculously mark up his estimates. I didn't appreciate feeling like I was being taking advantage of. The suggestions he made where so off base. For example he want to run my vent out of the front of my house versus the back where it is currently located. I live in a colonial and told him that would ruin the look of the front of the house. At the end of the day I was left with a crazy estimate of $1238.00!!! Ya no thanks! I found someone who was far more professional, valued cleanliness and wearing booties in my home, spent four hours cleaning and repairing and charged me $300. They were so amazing I hired them to do other work. Please don't come into people's homes and take advantage. Glad I continued to look for someone better.

Great service and speed of repair. Our repairman, Jamie, was pleasant and finished the job in short order. Very neat & efficient. Would definitely hire again.

It took this guy 7 hours to clean my vent. He charged me about $600.00! Absolutely aweful! NEVER AGAIN! Took more time taking pictures and padding his wallet than cleaning my vent!!

upsell as soon as soon as he came in the door. Honestly think this is a recurring symptom of contracting any service from Angies vs. the direct with contractor. the $99 cleaning service is entry into the house. Next comes $49 inspection fee, followed by $89 to replace dryer transfer duct, followed by $59 to replace outside vent, followed by $129 to clean elbows...and so on. The feeling I get is its not worth guys time to do a basic $99 cleaning without additional services. My advise to anyone...if you need a service done, do your homework...don't do it because Angie's spam email deals caught your eye and you think you're getting a deal...if sounds like a deal, it probably isn't. I'm going to drop my Angies service ASAP.

I wasn't home, but my husband was and was extremely impressed. First, we called because our dryer was giving us warnings that there was a problem. (It is a new dryer). John came out immediately; which was extremely impressive. He reviewed the problem and found our vent was not to code; but more importantly, based on the condition of the vent, we were lucky we did not have a fire. (We recently purchased the home). John had the proper equipment on his truck to fix our problems quickly and efficiently. We would recommend this company to anyone who has any dryer vent issues!!!
