DISCOUNT LIGHTING OUTLET

My wife has been gone to this store in the past for our lighting needs. We have bought a couple of semi-expensive fans. She thought that they were interested in helping her. She went back to this store to work on a lighting plan for a medium size addition we are adding on (500 sq ft). We were working with a contractor but we needed to pick out the fixtures. She thought that they could help her make a selection. The first visit went well and the guy at the store offered assistance with a plan. My wife took the plan home and tested out some of the ideas using string/cups for the pendants and cardboard for the fan. She spent hrs and hrs looking at the internet for ideas. When she went back to the shop she found the guys she worked with before and tried to tell him what she had found. She also had to tell him that the contractor put in recess lighting (3 cans). This must have put to guy off since he got upset and told her "I might lose a customer here but I have put too much time into this project. Here are the books. You look at them yourself". At that he walked away. My wife collected her things and left the store. Once she got to her car she started crying. It has been a week and she still cannot get over it. Was she wrong in any way? I don't think so. My wife is a very kind person that help kids get over disabilities. She is pleasant and puts a great deal of energy into her decorating. We have spent about $600 at this store over the years. I guess that is not enough to get customer service. We will not go back.
