About us
Throughout the fifty-plus years that Lino Battiston was active in the dry cleaning industry, he wore bow ties. His many friends and customers associated his bow tie with the smiling, cheerful disposition and intense pride with which he always approached his work. When he opened his first dry cleaning plant, a bow tie became the symbol of the new company. It remains our symbol today, and over the years it has become one of the area's most widely recognized symbols. From the beginning, Battiston's has offered the finest dry cleaning that modern technology can provide, and service that is courteous, friendly and helpful. Our customers expect the same high standards established many years ago by Lino Battiston and symbolized by his bow tie.

Avenue. We had several draperies cleaned and they send those to their
Avon store. We had just had our house interior painted and used that
opportunity to remove and clean the drapes. We asked Battiston's if
they could expedite the cleaning and they had the draperies back in 3
days. We were very satisfied with the cleaning and they were hung on
special hangers that retained the pleats. The best surprise came as I
was about to rehang the drapes. I had removed all of the drapery hooks
when I brought the drapes in for cleaning and I was prepared to reinsert
them at the rehanging. As I unfolded the drapes to insert the hooks, I
found that Battiston's had already installed new hooks in a very
uniform fashion. Since hanging drapes is not my favorite pastime,
Battiston's took most of the work out of it.
