They found a person and let her do the decorating, doing no quality control after the first walk through. I was in the process of having the house painted and the wood floors redone. The "House manager" asked to put a few things in the garage. I agreed, but then found she had furniture in the house on the floors that were just coated and needed to be left alone for several days. This put marks into the floor. When moving in I was told she would use a professional mover so no damage to the house. She did not. Her friend helped her move with the result that they scratched and damaged the walls. After the one walk through by Show to Sell the house manager then brought a lot of junk into the house, put 4 cars in the driveway, neglecting to use the garage because she had it filled with more junk. She also brought a friend to live with her into the home (I understand the cars were mostly his!) I was told they would do spot checks o the house. I trusted that and it wasn't until I went into the home at one point that I found the junk everywhere. The third floor was so packed with clothing and clothing racks that it couldn't be seen and blocked the access to the third floor balcony, a real selling point in this house. The "house manager" was to care for all the plants as long as I put down mulch. My wife and I spend days gardening to put in flowers and mulch, reset the walkway with new stone and make the place look nice. it want until I went by the house a month after she moved in that I saw that plants were dead, the weeds had taken over the flower beds and the lawn wasn't mown. The "house manager claimed no one told her she was suppose to do that. Frankly I believe her. There was zero follow up by Show to Sell. They claimed the problem was her, she didn't read her contract. I didn't care as the hundreds of dollars of flowers were DEAD, the lawn was a mess .and there was garbage in the yard. Upon my calling about it I was told they would go over. Nothing was done. Then one of the many cars that were still in the driveway damaged a landscape feature and there first response was denial, then to simply remove her from the home. My opinion is they are irresponsible, and somehow above all the "dirty work" they should have been doing, like checking on the person and making sure they were earning their free rent, not just acting like a tenant. They did not. rather than fix things they simply abandoned me. I lost the spring and summer selling season due to this failure and the damage that was done when she moved out was horrific. they sent their "painter" frankly a 2 year old with water color could have done a better job. They asked where the paint was and though I told them, They apparently couldn't find it and claimed the house was not the color I told them. The house was exactly the color. I went there and the paint was just where I told them, and yes it was the exact high quality paint and color I had been told by them to use. And why was it my responsibility to supply the paint to repair the damage their failed management caused! Never mind the time it took me to get the pictures proving the damage, and my having to go over and clan up after their people they argued so much over the real costs of repair that I just settled out with them so I could get down to the business of selling the house myself. These people paint a pretty picture but fail to project it where it counted, on my house! The got paid by the home manager and never paid any rent money to me. The value I was to get was the upkeep and beautification of the home. FAIL !
