Before we settled on using Linda as our agent, we did a lot of research on ratings of various realtors including number of homes they’ve sold over the last few years and any sellers feedback on their services. Linda was very highly rated and had many recent sales results. We also liked that she “specialized” in Westport properties exclusively, so she really knows this market including the competitive house inventory, proper pricing and buyer expectations by price range. She came back a few days later with a detailed marketing plan which also included “pre-marketing” our house prior to official MLS listing. She also indicated that “it’s easy to get an offer, the hard part and where I earn my commission is making the deal happen and close on time” and that’s where she really earned her money. She worked to screen/pre-qualify potential buyers, and presented us with a “quality” and full-price offer already knowing the buyer’s financial position. Her approach lead to several offers, with us accepting a full-price offer within the first week of listing. Once we “accepted” the offer, she worked relentlessly talking to the buyer’s mortgage broker and ensuring all the paperwork was getting done/expedited. Additionally she spent several hours with the buyer during the home inspection to facilitate the process. This resulted in a full-price offer and closing 45 days later. Linda is a high-energy, passionate and driven individual. She delivered on everything she committed to, and she was in constant contact with us. Her communication skills and accessibility are stellar! She made it seem like our home was the only house she was representing as she never once mentioned any of her other listings or that she couldn’t do something for us due to needing to be with her other clients. Her professionalism is outstanding, but we also developed a more personal relationship with her through the process. We will absolutely utilize Linda’s services in the future!!!
