Was able to do everything in one afternoon. After he had packed up, we realized we forgot one door on the balcony on the second floor. With no hesitation he took care of that door also. Charged us exactly what he said per lock, was on time, and we were very happy.

It's a very old front door lock system. He had to get the parts from the original lock maker.  The size on the first try was slightly off, but he dealt with the mfg and we had the replacement piece as soon as practical.  Very helpful through the entire process.

Called the day before to set up appointment for next day. Dan arrived on time. Showed him what we required. Made the recommendations (our locks were ancient so we needed to replace, not just re-key). He had the required equipment in his truck. Did the job very efficiently and very quickly. Explained the locking systems to us. Gave us set of 4 keys.  Excellent professional service. Highly recommend his services.  Hired him based on Angie List reviews --- so I wish to add my A as well!!

My husband and I just purchased a new home, so we hired Jake the Locksmith to replace all the locks on the house (the originals of which were all different). We also could not access the garage because we were not provided a key for it by the sellers, so he was able to access the garage and replace that lock, too. We were able to get a Saturday appointment (a huge plus) and our locksmith showed up on time, was professional, and did a great job.

I called Dan the day before I was hoping for service and he was able to fit me in to his schedule. On the day of service, Dan showed up on time - even beating me to the house - As I am a first time homeowner, I had some questions about changing locks, fire safety, and options. Dan took the time to answer my questions and educate me. While giving me the chance to make all final decisions. He then went right to work and was done very quickly (even after running back to his shop for parts or tools). I recommend his services and will use him again.
