That went perfect for me. I spent $1,000 on that work and it was all outside work. After the work was done, we had a big rainstorm and no water came in. They also cleaned up after themselves and I can’t even tell that they were here.

The story is told above. He did go to the basement to check and see if there were other places to clean. He did miss a trapdoor for ashes. I missed it too. I thought it was a left over from possibly having a coal furnace with a chute at one time. The basement is very dark so I don't blame him for the omission and he didn't charge me the whole price of the cleaning because he didn't find anything else to clean. He takes his work very seriously or he has a very dry sense of humor.

I was extremely pleased by the honesty as I have 4 chimney flues. He stated only 1 needed the cleaning. He telephoned stating his was running late due to his previous appointment. He said he would arrive in 15 minutes and arrived as stated. Upon scheduling the appointment, I had a verbal quote and the company stuck to the price. The entire job took 30 minutes.

OVERALL, THEY DID A REALLY GOOD JOB. THEY ARRIVED ON TIME AND THEY KEPT TRUE TO THEIR ORIGINAL ESTIMATE. THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL AND ANSWERED ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS.
