About us

Artistic Image is a full service salon and blow dry bar located in Westport, CT. We have been creating hairstyles uniquely designed to fit each client’s needs since we opened for business in 1993. In 2012 we said goodbye to our Norwalk location, moved to Westport and added a blow dry bar. Our professional and friendly stylists are trained in the most current techniques of hair cutting, coloring, highlighting, straightening and keratin treatments. We use only the highest quality hair care products, featuring Bumble and Bumble, and Goldwell professional products. Passion and creativity are our trademarks.

This is a beautiful low key salon. No push for services you don't need or want, though they have a full array of choices. Have used different stylists and all have done a nice professional job. My 15 year old daughter also loves going here. How many teens like the same salon as mom?! Pretty space and love the Bumble and Bumble products!

Took three attempts to get the length that I wanted my hair to be. I had specified collar length and it took 2 attempts before we reached it. Although the stylist spent close to 1 1/2 hours on my hair, I had to go back 2 times in one day to have it tweaked. Day later the length looks longer on one side and the style has dropped and doesn't look anything like when I left the salon. Back to a pony tail and to let it grow until I have enough new hair regrowth for another stylist to cut it. I called to speak to the owner the next day and I was rudely told and quot;we spent enough time on you and we probably lost money on youand quot;. You will have to live with it. I feel I shouldn't have had to pay for a cut/style I am not 100% happy with and that they did not offer to accomodate me further. The basic complacent attitude of the salon management does not adhere to providing premier customer service. I will not return to this salon nor recommend it to anyone I know. There are too many salons that provide exemplary customer service and they will not allow an unhappy customer to remain unhappy. It is simply not good business sense!

They were great. It was my first time there. I'm relatively new to the area and have had a series of bad hair experiences. The receptionist was very responsive to my concerns. I received an appt for the next day. Once I arrived, they made sure they knew what my concerns were and discussed how to address them. Excellent results I am so glad I've finally found someplace good.

I just switched to them recently. I am really happy with their highlighting and the haircuts. I think that the prices are about half of what I was previously paying at the place I use to go to.
