"Dear [Member Name Removed], Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review about our company. Please do stay in touch with us and when you are in our area please come see us. Thanks again"
I cannot say enough about his professionalism and dedication -- to music and to pianos. He hires only the best employees, and has no tolerance for inattention to detail. I recommend him unreservedly.
Yuri, the owner, is kind, considerate, personable, knowledgeable, efficient and honest. His assistants are diligent, sincere, hard-working, and so proud of the way the piano looks when they're done. They suggested I take photos before and after because, they assured me, I wasn't going to believe the transformation! They were right!
And yes, $2600.00 is a lot of money but the piano has been tuned many times over the past 100 years (recently at about $100+ each time). It's old and tired and has never had major work. The tunings were a stop-gap measure. I feel that for the first time, it's being treated to a full makeover and it's so much more fun to play, more enjoyable to listen to - and wonderful to look at for the first time in years!
So DO call Yuri and DON'T wait one more day!
I was originally schedule to have my piano tuned on the 19 Feb 2014, but I received a call asking if he could come on the 18th between 16:00 and 19:00. I said sure. Upon entering my home I was greeted with a friendly response and handed his personal business card as well as a pamphlet. My apartment was on his way home so he figured he could stop on the way. He immediately asked me if there was anything else he needed to know about the piano. I told him the pedals were loose and he immediately fixed them prior to tuning the piano. He asked how old the piano was and proceeded to check everything out. He said the only thing he could find was that the keys had dropped and need to be raised. He immediately started tuning my piano. I usually tune my piano every three months but this I waited a little bit longer. He said the piano was way out of tune. I explained I would go back to getting it tuned every 3 months. After tuning he said liked the sound of my upright. Had that old sound and was pretty for my pianos age and after the places it has been shipped to. When I asked for a receipt he provided me an instant email acknowledging what I paid. I also receipt a thank you email with a coupon for discount off of my next tuning. It also provided suggestion when I should have my piano tuned again. A great reminder. I would recommend him to anyone.
We mentioned that we wanted help selecting the right grand piano for our new house and were set on the black Yamaha. The owner, Yury, was very helpful and took his time to tell us all about what’s important to look out for and what’s the best year/type we should look for. While they do have a very nice showroom at that time they did not have the exact one we wanted. Rather than pushing us into one of their in stock instruments he went us with to see several privately-listed pianos and we ended up buying exactly what we wanted for a great deal (he also helped negotiate the price as he knew exactly what that instrument was worth and what maintenance it needed). Again, moving was effortless for them and they were extremely careful with our newly refinished hardwood floors. It actually rained really hard that day and they delivered the piano wrapped up in a special piano “jacket”, which we had never seen before.
We highly recommend Amadeus Pianos. Even though we are not professionals, our piano teacher is extremely pleased with the work they have done for us and for her. Customer service has always been exceptional. Yury especially is extremely knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to make sure his customers get exactly what they are looking for.
