 + 0 moreIt was painless from start to finish because Steve is prompt, courteous and responsive to your calls.
Description of Work: Steve Thomas is the total professional. He is responsive, he listens to your ideas and concerns and his work is top notch. Steve added a beautiful breakfast room to our kitchen that is flooded with light from many windows and yet remains cozy and warm on cold winter nights. We just live in it. In addition, he does smaller jobs and is just as careful with this work. He has put in new windows, built a new deck and repaired a leaky portion of our roof. I totally recommend Steve and his work and would not hesitate to use him for any project.

 + 3 moreThis was a wonderful experience. I contacted Yankee from Florida for finishing a basement room in Connecticut. I received a return call very promptly, They came out to give the estimate within two days. The estimate was reasonable, detailed and covered each item we spoke about. The estimate was free and was well within the amount we spoke about, The contractor was a delight to work with. Started the job when he said and finished the job on time. The quality of the work was better than anticipated. All debris was removed and the room and work areas cleaned. Yankee accommodated all changes without extraordinary additional cost or delay. They were extremely honest in disclosing their limitations and concerns. I would highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: Steve has done extensive work on our home both interior and exterior over the past 12 years. Most recently repairing ceiling damage and replacing an incorrectly installed dryer vent (put in by someone else) that caused roof damage and ceiling damage. We have had exterior soffits replaced, doors replaced, and shelving and closet systems installed. When we do our planned major renovation of the house in about a year, Steve will be the first contractor we call.
