Was told the pipe was crushed so they couldn't see is the D box was intact but that it should be replaced and the baffle should be replaced. Craig (who wasn't even out there inspecting--he's just taking the info and writing the report) first wrote the report as though the house was vacant. It was not. He fixed that but still wrote the report with recommendations that it was a pretty easy fix and would run about 1 to 2 thousand dollars. I got a second opinion based on the fact that we hadn't gotten any camera information (because of supposed crushed pipe). It turned out the pipe wasn't crushed but the D box had disintegrated and the soil was now sludge and the whole septic needed to be replaced. That's a big oops. They were rude when I called to complain. The receptionist talked over me and refused to give me her name, and Craig Badstuebner made condescending and insinuating remarks on the phone. They refuse to give me a refund of the $300 I spent for their misleading and incredibly negligent inspection. Don't use them. They suck and they're unprofessional. Waste of money. Get someone who knows what they're doing.

I hired Envirotech to inspect and pump out my tank as part of purchasing a house. Eight months later another company inspected the tank and found the outlet pipe was crushed. It was apparent the pipe had been like that for years. It cost $1,300 to repair. Envirotech’s answer, we feel bad we missed it. You would be absolutely crazy to hire this company.

I had Craig, Envirotech's owner, come out and inspect the septic system for a house we are purchasing. Gail, in the office was very attentive and knowledgeable when I scheduled my appointment. I felt very taken care of through the whole process, as I know nothing about septic systems. Craig was friendly, professional and in time for our appointment. I will definitely use Envirotech for any of our septic needs in the future. I highly recommend this family owned company 5o anyone in the area.

We had indications of a drainage problem beginning.  The office staff of EnviroTech was very professional and asked all the right questions.  They sent a technician out the next day.  The technician opened the septic tank and immediately solved the problem.  He also pumped out the tank.  He showed us what mistakes the previous drain cleaner and septic service had made that had caused the problem.  The EnviroTech service was professional, informative and reasonably priced.

Great service!  It was pouring rain and he still took his time to do a thorough inspection.

Excellent. No problems. Replaced sod over tank. Followed up with town for record keeping and sent a written report to me with recommendation to service again in 5 yrs instead of 4.

We had a septic inspection for a new hoe purchase. Craig was prompt (actually early), thorough, and explained all aspects of the septic system in layman's terms. He also provided great detail on how we could ensure quality maintenance of our system for years to come, and did not try to push any services on us. I will definitely use Envirotech for ongoing maintenance.

During the home inspection for our new home, the original inspector advised us that the septic tank was over 2 feet too deep to meet code, was backed up to the rim and that the leach fields may have been jeopardized. He advised us to contact a specialist to thoroughly check out the system before moving forward with our purchase. After locating Envirotech in the yellow pages, I called and spoke with Craig. He quickly put my mind at ease by telling me that he was almost certain that the problem was a combination of the fact that the septic tank had not been cleaned in the 6 years since it was installed and that most likely the filter was clogged and needed to be replaced. He stated that many of the filters in new systems around the time of our system used a particular brand of filter that they have found over time to fail. He told me he would do his best to go check it out that very day, but at the worst would be there the following morning. Craig called me from the site later that day to let me know that his earlier assessment was correct. He went out of his way, given my concerns about the leach field, to inspect the baffles and test the leach fields. The extraordinary care and attention that Craig took to let me know in advance what to expect and to keep me informed during the process was greatly appreciated! When he realized I was interested in how our system worked, he took the time to explain how our system's design and how it works. Craig has me as a lifelong customer!
