J&M PAINTING

We obtained 6 bids. J&M was not the lowest, but his bid was on the lower end. Pros and Cons of his work: Pros: James is a very nice guy and returned calls promptly. He stayed with the job until completed. He was careful with our property and we did not have any damage. He kept his word when he could start the job and approximately how long it took. Cons: We are not happy with the quality of the work. In many spots, it does not appear to have two coats, especially the trim. There were obvious places where the home needed to be caulked before he painted it and he did not do so without being asked. We are now seeing other places that require a coat of paint and/or caulking. The quality of the work is the most important factor to us in rating a contractor.
