 + -1 moreThe job took a little more than three weeks, far longer than the week estimated to complete it. In part the cause was the town's delay in issuing permits and sending out an inspector; in part the delay reflected Tony's dilatoriness. He doesn't always call when he can't come as planned, and he doesn't necessarily deliver paperwork (such as a contract) when he says he will. Some parts of the job had to be repaired or redone (drains not completely backfilled; sidewalk not in compliance with town specs). He did the extra work cheerfully.
Description of Work: Following a blueprint prepared by a civil engineer, ARD excavated and installed three drains, two in my backyard and one in a neighbor's, and a pipe running the length of my driveway to the town catch basin, to reduce standing surface water after rain; after the installation, the trenches were back filled, bituminous concrete was used to fill the path that had been cut in the driveway asphalt, the apron on the street was replaced, and a sidewalk slab abutting the apron was replaced (repoured).
