(Alot of people at the West Haven VA Medical Center also take
their cars to Marshalls Garage.) I've never heard a and quot;badand quot; review
from anyone.
And LADIES...I MUST say that Marshalls Garage was very fair.
They didn't try to and quot;sell me stuff I didn't needand quot; or tell me
I needed a and quot;special partand quot;. I have OVER 104,000 miles on my car
and now it really runs great!!
the car towed to Marshall's Garage on a Friday morning. It turned out
that a break line had ruptured and had to be replaced. This required
the removal of the fuel tank - which had just been filled. Marshall
explained to me - in detail - what the possible problems would be
regarding making the required disconnections of various fittings. If he
had to and quot;Break the Connectionsand quot; we would have the expense of replacing
various components. His estimate was that in a worst case scenario the
costs could run as high as $800. I told him to do his best but take
what ever time he needed to and quot;easeand quot; the fittings out and let them soak
with penetrating fluids.
He did the repair, he was able to save the components he was worried
about. When I picked up the car the bill was about 1/2 the worst case
scenario, and the fuel tank was full as when he got it. At $3.75 to
$4.00/gal I appreciate the integrity of putting all the fuel back in.
