We converted our home from oil to gas heat and hot water. Dave was incredibly punctual and friendly when he came to give an estimate. His pricing was competitive, and we decided to use him based on his obvious knowledge and experience. Once the gas company ran the line to our house, Dave was very proactive about scheduling. We had a time constraint before the holiday weekend, so he set up an amazingly efficient and well-coordinated plan to do the entire job in a day and a half. At any given time there were at least four people working on the project, but they managed to make the entire job feel seamless. Dave and his crew were very friendly and clean, and the installation was incredibly meticulous. Dave did a fantastic job of coordinating all of the moving pieces, even when we had a missed appointment from an inspector. Despite the mishap, the job was still completed sooner than promised. And of course we are very happy with the results - our hot water is much more consistent than before! I would highly recommend Dave for home heating projects.

Dave and his crew did a fantastic job designing and installing my first central air system. The house has hot water baseboard heat so he had to install all the ductwork and registers. I got three quotes and he was the most reasonable and professional of the lot. For example, he ran the refrigerant lines from the compressor to the attic through the house wall, between the floor joists, and up through a bedroom wall. The other companies planned to run the line up the side of the house to the attic. They said they would put a cover over it which would match the vinyl siding, but why not do it right in the first place? When I told one of the other companies to run it through the wall they said ok, but they would run it up to the attic through a closet. I think that's when I decided to go with Dave. He uses quality equipment that's fully guaranteed, and he does all the service himself.

He was very responsive to my request for a quote, answered all my questions and got back to me quickly. He arrived when scheduled, cleaned up every day and finished on schedule. It's too cold to run the system now, so I will update this review when he comes back to test it out. I'm sure it will perform perfectly.

This was my first time using Dave's company, and everything went well.  Dave was very professional, his prices were reasonable, and they cleaned up well after the installation.  Dave made a follow-up visit to make sure that everything was going well with the new furnace.  I would recommend Home Heating and Air Conditioning, LLC for anyone in their CT service area.

Initially I called three Heating & Air Conditioning Contractors to get prices.  Home Heating & Air Conditioning  LLC. was not the cheapest but they also were not the most expensive.  I truly feel that you get what you pay for.  My home is a 2,800 sq.ft. Ranch w a second floor for future living space.  An air conditioning system needed to be designed because A/C was not installed when he house was built and I have a hot water baseboard heating system (No Duct Work).  Home Heating and Cooling not only installed the system but also designed the system using the most up to date methods of cooling a home.  I felt as if I was getting an A/C system installed but I also felt as if I was being educated about the system.  Why certain things were done and other things were not done. I was very impressed with that because in my past experiences I have found that contractors like to be as vague as possible. Most likely to prevent more questions.  I was completely satisfied and very impressed with not only the professionalism displayed by Dave (the owner) and his crew.  They always conducted themselves professionally and they were nice to deal with. They were always respectful of our house and our time.  If they said they would be at my house at 9:00 am they were there at 9:00 am.  They always wore paper booties on their work shoes so they didn't bring the outside dirt into my house all over my Hardwood floors and all over my Carpeting.  As a matter of fact they were so meticulously neat and clean.  They cleaned at the end of every day and my house was actually in better condition after they finished the job as it was when they first started.  Every time estimation was accurate.  The first phase took the amount of time that was estimated as well as every other time estimate.  They came everyday until the installation was completed.  As previously stated, the owner Dave explained everything prior and during the installations process.  One of the things that impressed me the most was the fact that after everything was completed I was having a problem with understanding exactly how to use the thermostats.  I called and left a message.  Within the hour the owner Dave, returned my call. By the end of the day he came over my house to give me a little lesson on the thermostat.  Sometimes contractors will finish a job and when you call with a question or problem they never return your call.  Dave treated me the same way during the entire process.  He wasn't just nice to me at the beginning (just to get the job.  His manners were the same at the beginning, middle, end and after completion.  
I would highly recommend this company.  Although I did not have a furnace installed by Home Heating and Air Conditioning, when I need to have a furnace installed Home Heating & Air Condition will be the company I call.  
I really feel lucky that I choose Home Heating & Cooling LLC.
