Went very well. They came every day, fed our cat and spent time with her, even though she is not a friendly cat and is especially unfriendly to strangers.

Great! I have used them about 6 times. I'm home most of the time so I just need help once in awhile. They come and walk the dogs. They always fill their water and leave a note. I love the note so I know what they need when I get home. All my experience has been great.

It went extremely well. They came and did a home visit to meet the dogs, see where I kept the leashes, where I walk them etc. They were on time and very professional. They also have a website that you can use to schedule visits. I found it convenient especially to use during night hours.

They were pleasant and efficient. Business-like and did not spend any extra time with animals beyond the basic walk. (They had not promised anything other than that - but $20 is high for 15-20 minutes. I do realize there is driving time for them.)

We have used them several times. They have always done a great job. A number of times the owner of the business has came to our home to do the work. We are very pleased with her and all of the employees that have came. I have never questioned their service and have always been confident that they are doing the work that is needed.

Very well. I appreciate the fact that WHPS replies to my emails when I inquire about my cats while I'm away. I also appreciate that they are available any time provided appropriate notice is given.

Been using WHP to care for our cats and our house when on vacation for some years now. Our kitties are fed, played with, and cossetted by Kim and her staff while we're away. WHP responds to our "parental" check-in calls, will text and VM to update us on their status, and generally go out of their way to assure us that our "furry children" are well cared for in their own home. A written end-of-visit report is waiting for us when we return. They also water our patio plants and make sure the house systems are in good order. In short, they are our eyes, ears and arms when we're not there to care for our cats. We highly recommend Kim and her pet care services.

Kim (owner) and Devon (our primary sitter) came to meet us before the first sitting visit and explained the care they would
provide. They are flexible and will follow any reasonable care plan you have for your pets. While our foster went home about a week ago, our puppy continues to look forward to Devon's visit during the day to feed her, walk her and give her an opportunity to take care of business. They leave detailed notes everyday on their activities and anything of note.
You can really tell they enjoy taking care of our littlest family member and usually note something amusing that our little girl did.
I schedule their service the week before as our needs change weekly and they never fail to live up to their commitment. I would trust Kim and her team for any pet sitting services. Her rates are fair for the care and peace of mind provided.
Scheduling is done via an online scheduling service once you are an established customer. This takes a little bit of getting used to but once you get the hang of it it's pretty easy. If you are not comfortable using the system I am sure you can provide them your schedule by other means just ask.

We're very happy with WHP. We've used them for the past 2-3 years and they have been very reliable and professional. They've always been available when we need them to do extra walks for our dog on short notice (either at night or on weekends). They leave notes every day and point out when Max is not feeling well or limping, etc. Kim has put together a great team.

They are very responsive, professional, and goes far beyond expectation to provide the best care for your pets. Their price is slightly higher than competitors, but given the overall quality of their service, it is absolutely worth it. I would not trust our dog with anyone else. They have also been extremely flexible with scheduling and have helped us out on very short notice. We depend on them for various recommendations concerning our dog as well. I have asked their advice on the type of collar/harness that is best for our dog, possible dog trainers, etc. We have been very happy with their recommendations, and also the time and effort put into providing the best advice for your pet. You never receive a generic recommendation, but one that is always is tailored to your particular needs.

Kim did a home visit to introduce herself to me and the dogs and to check out where leashes, food, etc. were located. I filled out a questionnaire about vet, habits, emergency contacts, etc. Several of my neighbors use WHPS reguarly with excellent reviews. When we returned home, the dogs were relaxed and not stressed.

Our experience with West Hartford Pet Sitters has been terrific and I would recommend them without hestitation. It's apparent from the notes they leave that while it is their job to walk my dog, they also love him and genuinely care about his well-being. One time he clearly wasn't feeling well and had been sick in the kitchen when they got there. They cleaned up after him (it was quite a mess!), and stayed with him while calling me so I could come home and take care of him. I trust them, and in particular the owner Kim, immensely.

West Hartford Dog Sitters is a very professional and well-run organization. Before accepting you or your dog as a client, the owner comes over to interview you and your dog. They want to be sure there will be no significant issues, and they want to know about any special needs that might be involved. They are careful to not over-commit. These are "dog" people and they understand dogs.
When we have returned home after they have walked our dog, in each case there was a note telling us in detail about the walk, how long it was, what "business" our dog did, how the dog acted, the dog's disposition, etc.

It was an F rated experience. A scam ran by dishonest people. I hired them at $20 a visit for 16 visits and paid them up front. They failed to show up on at least 3 occasions. Their failure to show up was verified by a friend and neighbor. When I called them and asked for a refund, they refused. I would NEVER recommend this outfit who takes advantage of the trust enstowed upon them by the people who hire them.
