All 4 attempts were unsuccessful. The owner of the company speculated each time as to the cause of the leak. He used his professional judgment of process of elimination for the basis of each subsequent repair. He never looked into the attic to determine the site of the leak, and never inspected the work that had been done.
Each attempt was accompanied by a and quot;warranty.and quot; Apparently, each and quot;warrantyand quot; was a guarantee that whatever the roofers had done, would not work.

Showed up as planned, on time, with adequate crew and did work. Jim Carroll personally came on site to check work.Price was significantly less than a high-rated provider from Angie's list. Other hig- rated provider came to give an estimate but never did so.

My roof was damaged by the snow and ice of the winter of 2011. My insurance company asked me to choose a contractor and submit the estimate. JP Carroll was very easy to work with and everything was done in a timely fashion. The job was scheduled and was completed in less than 2 days and they cleaned up after themselves each day. I was very pleased with the results.

The installation of the roof was fine. prompt, clean, etc. It is the followup that is the problem. In fairness, I only began the complaint through Angie's list -- but they promise to respond within 24 hours. NOTHING. So now, 72 hrs later, I'm postiing this... and in the next 2 days, will call them, and begin the process. Will keep you posted. May 18 and quot;Normand quot; from JP Carroll came to the house to hear the problems connected with the roofing. He was courteous ... but I was quite surprised when he said that he would go home and and quot;write up a proposaland quot; Upon further discussion, he said that some workers would come and get on the roof and investigate. It has been 7 days and I have heard absolutely nothing. Meanwhile, it has been a rainy spell, and water is coming into the house. Have now gone to the town building inspector for help --- in talking with them, they asked if there had been a town inspection of the job. I didn't think so...when they learned it was JP Carroll, they said they weren't surprised, this often didn't happen. Next step: lawyer? / Town building inspector? advise???

I didn't find them on Angie's List. I am actually in the process of having a big confrontation with them. I had building inspectors here and the department of consumer protection involved. They never took out a building permit when they did the job. When I had trouble, I went to the town and they told me they couldn't come and inspect it until we had a building permit. I called J P Carroll and they actually did one last week, two years later. They did it with a fine. The building inspector came out this week and the inspection failed. There were all kinds of problems with the flashings. It was a bad installation. I have had all kinds of leaks and damage. Somebody is coming to do a mold test this afternoon because I think there is mold in the walls. I have had J P Carroll out here and they have looked at it and given the nod and said that they would get back to me and they never did. Their punctuality was fine when they did the job, but it was nothing when the problems came up two years ago. I have gone to the town and also to the state and I may end up having to go to a lawyer.

They came out the same week to take measurements and for an estimate. I received the written estimate the beginning of the next week. Great responsiveness, and they were happy to answer some questions I had on the phone as well. Turns out the roof does not need to be replaced quite yet, but when it does in a few years I will call them again.

After 2 service calls didn't solve problem.Called another roofer who did work correctly.

The work was completed quickly and very professionally. They were responsive when asked for a quote, provided a lot of detail, including providing local addresses to see completed work and pick colors. They arrived when scheduled and completed the work as estimated. I had expected the quote to be substantially higher and was extremely pleased with the price and work.

They are excellent. They gave a very good price. The people are very nice and reliable. The job went excellent.

Professional in every respect. Personal attention from owner. Done on schedule with reasonable price.

They are very good at what they do. The work we had done was very expensive but that was only because it was the material that we used. The kind of roof we have is not the same old roof everyone else has and we need to get maintenance every year. We never have a problem with them. They definitely satisfy our needs and concerns in any way possible.

It took a few weeks to get on their schedule, but they performed great work.

From the office staff to the crew, they were all courteous and professional. Highly recommended.
