Danny Rossa has it all together. He came to the house twice, once for rough measurements and a quote and again to get exact measurements. His windows are exactly what he said they would be. I've seen replacement windows that are more fancy and polished looking but these are very adequate and do the job very well. I have noticed a significant difference in comfort this winter. No drafts or air leaks. I'm sure, based on degree days, my heating bills will be lower this year . The two installers were amazing. They did 19 windows in one day including new exterior aluminum trim (which was part of the price). My only advice to the homeowner is to stay out of their way and don't ask too many questions. They have a routine and they don't want you getting in their way or slowing them down. They were here 10 hours and didn't even break for lunch. They did forget to clean a little saw dust out of my driveway but that is a minor issue compared to the value I received. If you decide to go with Finestra Rossa be sure you like the stock windows he sells. A bit of a price upgrade will get you windows that have a more formal appearance. In my case, I was looking for a high efficiency, well operating replacement window at a reasonable price. Finestra Rossa delivered.

It was a very good experience. He's not as much of a sales guy as all of the guys I have dealt with, which I liked. He provided very short and to the point presentation and gave me all the information I needed to know, which I really appreciated. His price was less than half of the other quotes that I've got.

From start to finish they were so friendly and professional. They were never pushy and the price was half of the other quotes I received. The windows are energy efficient and tilt in for easy cleaning. No more drafts and noise. They were very professional and they did not leave a mess. I cant believe how fast and friendly they were. I just love these windows!!!!!!! I would highly recommend them to anyone. These windows are so beautiful and they have a lifetime guarantee.

I would never have chosen Finestra based on their advertising of 5 windows for $999 - too used car salesy.  But after interviewing many others and since they had high reviews from Angie, we called them.  They were half of our other estimates, so I was suspicious of the quality of windows.  Come to find out they were installing the very same brand that the competitors were installing.  They were great to work with.  Did what they said, when they said they would.  Installers were very friendly and professional.  Great job.

The process was extremely simple. I called and that day spoke with Anthony who helped with all my questions and pricing out what I wanted. I even forgot a few questions and called back and Anthony was very helpful. The owner Danny came out to do the measurement and contract to order the windows. I was told the windows would come in in a few weeks and they came in much sooner. I was traveling for work and wasn't able to get ahold of Danny during the day due to my work schedule. He was extremely accomodating and assisted me through email. They day they came to install they came at 8:30 am and were done by 2 pm. they did an excellent job and my windows look great.

I have performed a lot of renovations on my house since they installed the windows.  They were the first contractors to perform work on my property.  They were the best and most accommodating.

FInestra gave me a quote over the phone. I compared there quote to four of there competitors. Finestras product was just as good for a fraction of the price.

Howie and Omar came right on time - Six hours later the job was done.  These guys do not fool around.   Windows look amazing!  So easy to open and close/clean.   Howie and Omar are an asset to the company.    They are hard working and personable and I felt comfortable with them in my home. They left everything clean and picked up.  I've waited a few days to send this review - we have had high winds and cold days/nights and we can definitely see a difference in the house with the temperature/drafts and noise.
I am so happy with these windows and I would highly recommend Finestra.
Just a note: my neighbor got new windows a few months ago and she paid over $12,000.00.    These Finestra windows are energy efficient and look no different from hers.   Give Finestra a call if you are considering windows, you won't be disappointed.

Danny and his "assistant in training" came out to meausre for both my condo, and my mother in law's condo.  I had just moved in about two weeks prior.  They were very professional.  They showed us a sample of the windows and how they operated, how easy they were to clean.  These were energy efficient windows, low argon, etc.  Because they are energy efficient, there is no Sales Tax on them.  :)  They told us they would order the windows, and they would take approximately two weeks to come in.  I believe the windows are manufactured up in Maine, but I could be wrong on that.  They called exactly two weeks later to let us know the windows had come in, and we scheduled the installation for November 6th, at 9am.  They called that morning at 8:30 and said they were on their way.  They finished both condos shortly after 1pm.  Each condo had 6 windows.  The installation people were very professional and clean.  I could not be happier with the entire process.  I would highly recommend them to anyone.  As a matter of fact, my neighbor has already put a call into them.

I had seen an ad stating 6 windows $999 and called for a quote.  The owner Danny, came to the house to give us a quote on 6 (very large) replacement windows.  He arrived on time and quickly measured the windows to be replaced.  He brought a sample window with him for my husband and I to view.  There was no sales pitch, just straight forward pricing, quick and efficient.  He told us there was a 2-3 week lead time.  The windows were $999 but we opted for the Low E option which added $15/window and saved us some sales tax. 
We put the order in for the windows, and as promised, they were installed 2 weeks later.  I had e-mailed Danny once or twice to get some information and a receipt and he always replied the same day.  The installers arrived exactly when they said they would.  They worked quickly and efficiently, took away all the old windows and left the house the way they found it.   My husband was very impressed with how well they worked.
What a great experience, plan on using this company again.  The icing on the cake was that the windows are made right here in Connecticut.

I don't think anyone can install better windows for anywhere near this price. Workmanship was excellent. They arrived on time, got the job done quickly and left the place clean. Professional service. I highly recommend them.

He told me the windows would be in by September 27th or sooner. Then came in and were installed on the 19th .
 
The only down side and it is not a big deal was one of the windows sizes was wrong so I am waiting on a new one. It should be in this week.

The price/service ratio was amazing. We just had our windows installed and they look great. Everything was smooth sailing from the point Danny came in to give an estimate to the installation process. You just cant beat the value for the money this guy is providing, by far the best deal for windows around Hartford. Will def do business with Finestra again.

The initial appointment was made within a few days of calling.  Danny Rossa, the owner, arrived promptly as scheduled.  A discussion of what was needed was followed by taking measurements, and a quote was given on the spot.  Danny was pleasant and informative.  Soon after completion of the specially made window, an appointment was made and the crew arrived on schedule.  The work was performed in a thorough and professional manner, with great results at a reasonable price.  I'm very happy with the work, and plan to have more windows installed by this company. 

I found Danny on a craigslist add and watched his YouTube videos. They claim that they'll sell and install 6 windows for $1,000.00

It went great! I got an over the phone price for the windows and appreciated their no-bs attitude. They wanted to give the price over the phone and explained how each number was derived. Then Danny came to our house with a floor model of the windows that they recommended. I believe they were made in PA which I also appreciated. After he walked through the house with me and took all of the measurements, he also answered all of the questions I had in person. He even pointed out how I could redeem a warranty on an existing replacement window in the house.

The installation went very well. Two men came to the house and were both very cordial. They removed the old windows, replaced them, caulked and cleaned up all the scraps in about two hours!!! After a brief q and a of the new windos which are beautiful!!!, they were paid and left. Baddabing!

very honest -  a rarity among service people today.

They were great. Every single window company that came to my house used high sales tactics; I didn’t appreciate that. I called Finestra Window Co and they gave me a price right over the phone. When they came home, their price was pretty close to what they had quoted me on phone. The only reason I understood that it was different because one of my windows needed some inside trim; which they obviously couldn’t see over the phone. We were talking about a difference of $50. They told me that they were going to put the windows in. The owner told me the work would be done in thirty days and it was done in three weeks. Their price was the best out of the entire price that I received, which scared me. Their price was the lowest. I was very happy with the windows. They were very clean when they put the windows. They got the job done in a day. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with them. All my friends know about them. I would use them in the future.

Best deal around! 6 windows for $999 installed...about $167 each. Incredible price and great experience. Danny the owner is a straight shooter, honest, knows his windows, and knows how they should be installed. His installer came at the exact time he said he would and did an expert installation job. The windows were installed right with a lot of insulation because my window frames were completely uninsulated because this is an old house. He also made sure there was extra caulking so everything was sealed tight. The installation was perfect. The windows themselves are Energy Star and of very high quality -- I was skeptical at this price until I saw the windows. These would have been at least double in price if installed by one of the "big box" home improvement stores. I know because I priced them out and their windows at $350 installed per window were not as good as these (and who knows how well they would have been installed). Bottom line is you will not find a better price/quality/installation on a window from anybody else in the area.
