I finally called again and got a technician, who gave me a story about having to schedule someone to come out and CLEAN the furnace. I said the furnace had already been cleaned and we just needed it restarted. He went on and on but finally agreed.
In the meantime, my Landlord came down from Vermont and was in the process of already getting the furnace started, when the technician showed up. They did nothing and charged my son 69.00 and change.
I contacted the company and spoke to a woman. Mike was at a Funeral and she took my information. All along she was stating that there is always a fee for restating the furnace and on and on. I explained that I was never told there would be a charge and it was not my fault they had initially sent someone out who was not familiar with our type of furnace. She said she would have it reviewed and someone would contact me. No one did.
I called again the next day and got a gentleman. I again explained the WHOLE story and he just went on and on about checking his GPS system and how Mike was at my house Monday morning at 7:17 AM and that he has no record of a technician being there in the afternoon. Over and Over and Over. He said his GPS is 100%. I advised him he was wrong and that he could check Mike's phone records to see what time I had called in in the morning to prove he was NOT there at 7:17 AM. He would not listen. He then said I signed for the charge of $69.00 and why did I do that if i did not want to pay. I said I DID NOT sign, that it was my son who did not want to have an issue. He was not willing to do anything to compromise. No one ever apoligized for being late, not calling, wanting to do the extra work, charging extra, etc. I was looking to get the $69.00 charge back as they did not do anything for that service and they tried to charge me extra and came out very late. I will never contact this company again.
"(member name removed) We were sorry that you ran out of oil and tried to accommodate you in any way we could. Unfortunately, being there the next day and helping you within 24 hours did not meet up to your expectations. I would be willing to give you a refund, if a refund was warranted. You were very insulting to my employees and lost your cool very easily. You were calling to complain about a service you received over three weeks ago. A little after the delivery was made you called to set up service to have your system bled out, because again, you ran it out of oil. If between that time and when my service mechanic arrived, you stated that you had your landlord drive from Vermont all the way to Connecticut to bleed you out. If you had made other arrangements you had an excess of time to call our office and cancel our mechanic coming out. We have signed slips for the work completed, as well as cleared checks. Again, I’m sorry that you ran yourself out of oil and I wish I had the chance to speak to you myself, unfortunately I was attending a funeral for one of our customers. We did the best we could for you and I’m sorry it was not enough for you. Regards, Michael Campbell"
