The lead Kevin was very rude upon the 1st day, day driveway was dug up. I would avoid the crew he is on if at all possible. The actual work and finished product was fantastic which was a different crew. However, my front steps were damaged and I have had a lot of trouble getting Matt the owner of DEZEIL PAVING to negotiate on the repairs. Our stairs were newly renovated just 3 months prior. Accidents happen, but a good company would take ownership of their mistakes instead of giving the customer a difficult time.

The driveway looks better than I even imagined. Fantastic job! Would totally recommend Deiziel Paving if you want it done right.

Day of the install I felt it went well.  A large crew showed up and the foreman explained to me everything they were doing and kept me informed along the way.

The big issue has been with the quality of the installation and the follow up and guarantee of the driveway.  Deziel issues a 2-year guarantee with each new driveway installation in which they guarantee no defects.  Within the 2 years during the summer of 2013, an area of the driveway started to sink.  I called Deziel and they sent someone out who told me that it was not sinking, it looked as if someone ran over something.  Since no one pulls in my driveway except me and I knew I didn't drive over anything I did not agree but in the end I had no choice and he walked away stating this was the reason.

A year later in the summer of 2014, this sinking area has spread and in fact there are several areas sinking and the driveway looks like garbage.  I have been calling Deziel now for 6 weeks.  Each time I speak to the receptionist and she tells me that someone will follow up with me by week's end but my cell phone never rings.  The initial excuse was they just got a new estimator but now 6 weeks later same no response at all from this company.

I have now given up on these criminals.  They basically blow off their customers until the driveway is past the guarantee deadline and then just continue to completely ignore the customer.

I now need to find a new company to repair a driveway that is just over 3 years old.  I will never use these guys again nor recommend them.

UPDATE on Sept 22, 2015:

Leaving one last update as I finally got a response verbally from receptionist at the end of 2014 paving season that the owner, Matt Deziel, committed to repairing the sink hole at the start of the 2015 paving season.  It is now the end of the 2015 paving season and have not received one phone call from Matt Deziel or his company.  I have; however, made about a dozen phone calls between April and September 2015 asking for an update at which every discussion ends with receptionist stating she has given my message to Matt.  In my final attempt she asked me to e-mail Matt directly which I have done and have received no response 18 days later.  This guy could care less about his customers and has no sense of good customer service and putting "people first" in his services.  Once he gets paid, it's so long customer.  I now have a number of other paving companies assessing and quoting to fix his poor job.

I do not recommending even bringing these guys into the mix if you are evaluating paving companies for your job.  Their 3-year guarantee is worthless and they will just put their receptionist on the front line to be empathetic to your cause but with no authority to resolve your issue and empty commitments that someone with authority will call you back.

The initial removal / crushed stone took about 5 hrs including the cleanup. Driveway was usable and was not affected by heavy rain that night. The tarring process and cleanup was completed was completed in one afternoon and was finished product is level, beveled along the sides and blended to the street without any height difference. EXCELLENT JOB.
Crews were very professional and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a driveway installed.

Prep crew was courteous and professional, providing detailed explanation of work that needed to be done. We didn't t actually see the paving - it was completed before I got home from work. Perfectly matched up with recently-installed pavers at front and rear walkways. Excellent job. There was some difficulty connecting initially by phone, but it was worth the wait.

Excellent job. They contoured the edge and made a seamless transition with the garage and the road. Worked quickly, left it spotless, couldn't have been more pleased with the result!

Sales rep. was punctual and thorough in his explanation of what would happen on the job. He answered my questions and brought up things that I had not thought about.
Excavation crew was promptly on site before 8:00 on the day they were scheduled. they were thorough and very neat. My wife has some of he flower beds along the driveway and they were not disturbed in the process. A few areas had retained much of their base but the crew ensured that a uniform 6and quot; layer of processed gravel was put down. After compacting we were told that the paving crew would be in touch to schedule a date and that it would probably be a couple of weeks in order to allow the gravel layer to settle in.

Paving crew scheduled a day and arrived promptly. They quickly set up their equipment and began laying down asphalt. They tamped the sides to a neat finish (something that not all paving companies do) and built up the foot of the dirveway to eliminate the bottoming out effect on a car.
I was very pleased with the job and feel that I received good value for my dollar. My first driveway lasted nearly 25 years. I'm comfortable that this one will give us many years of good service. I would hire this company again.

The owner is a perfectionist. He came on the second day of construction after some of the asphalt was put down. He decided that the grading was not to his liking so he had the workers remove it and regrade the drive which is steep and curves. We had a lot of water run off in rain storms which caused a lot of cracking. We also had mature tree roots that grew under the drive. We had the tree removed because it had been struck by lightening twice. The asphalt is a top grade. We also had curbing put down. Despite the weather this past winter the driveway still looks great.
They came like an army with every piece of equipment to do the job. The forman was knowledgable and courteous. The workers were efficient. I highly recommend Deziel.

They answered all our questions. They removed several landscape timbers which wasn't in the original estimate. They were very professional and courteous. They addressed our drainage concerns. The entire experience was positive and we would highly recommend them to anyone needing their services. We're very happy with our new driveway. Snow removal is much easier now.

Deziel was recommended to us by our neighbor across the street and it was a good recommendation. They came when they said that they were going to come and did a very good job on our driveway. The original man who came to estimate the job even came out an additional time and remeasured the whole driveway when I decided that our original plan was too narrow. He didn't make me feel like a dope for changing my mind and we both agreed that he changes that were made improved the driveway 100%. He answered all of my questions and made me feed very comfortable with my decision to use Deziel. All in all we have a very nice driveway and are receiving a lot of compliments on it.
