Waterford Dental Health

I am someone who has always had anxiety with dental visits and did not go regularly. My first visit to Waterford Dental Health was on March 13, 2013 and I chose the sedation dentistry to get caught up on much needed dental services. It worked quite well and it was the only time that I used the sedation option. For the last four years I have been going to Waterford Dental Health for my bi-annual cleanings and whatever treatments I needed. Last year I had my first root canal and crown. Tomorrow I have an appointment to finish my first tooth implant. I experienced zero pain during and after the stud implant surgery two months ago. I was quoted an accurate fair price prior to every dental service in the last four years and now have very little anxiety going to the dentist. I am very happy with all the dental procedures performed and the entire staff at Waterford Dental Health.

It as fine, no complaints. I've had a lot of dental work done over the years, so I have a lot of experience with dentists. Everyone was good and competent.

The office got me right in.  The dentist was fast and very efficient.  The smoothest
dental visit I have ever experienced. I will recommend them to everyone.

They are always friendly.

I have always had weak teeth. I take good care of them, but inevitably I always end up with cavities. I had never had a root canal before, but heard they were unpleasant, so I was a little nervous that I was getting a root canal on only my second visit with a new dentist. The procedure ended up going very well. The dentist and his assistants were great. They talk to you and keep you informed on what they are doing throughout the procedure and are very friendly. The dentist was very good; he worked quickly and was very precise (no painful pokes or discomfort). The office is very nice and clean, newer equipment and the chairs are comfortable. The front desk is friendly and very easy to work with.
Since the root canal, I have been back for the follow-ups (capped tooth) and another cleaning. Overall, this a great dentist office with which I have no complaints.

I have a fear of the dentist and had no been in over 10 years. I was having severe pain and found Waterford Dental Health's sedation program. They sedate you and perform all of your dental work at once and you don't remember any of it. This was great. It allowed me to get the help I needed while getting over my fears. The staff was extremely nice and didn't make me feel bad or embarrassed. It did take two appointments to finish all the work. The only drawback is that they only do sedation appointments on Tuesdays which makes appointments had to come by. Also, the sedation is not covered by insurance and can be expensive but it was worth it.

Everything went so well. The impressions were taken without any difficulty, under sedation. The extractions & fitting of the denture were also done under sedation, with no problems.
I need adjustments made to the dentures a couple times for sore spots. They were always able to get me right in & took care of what was bothering me immediately.
I can't say enough good about Dr. Ken. The whole office staff is great but I just love Dr. Ken & especially his "sidekick", Shelly. I have a lot of fun with her. Great sense of humor!
I don't dread going to the dentist anymore. I feel like these people really care & are doing their best for me. They're so kind, gentle, and compassionate. I almost feel like I'm going to see friends when I have an appointment. This is a big deal for me. If I always had a dentist like this, my teeth might have lasted longer because I wouldn't have feared going so badly. Because of my fear & dread, I would only go to the dentist when something was wrong. I didn't really do "preventative care".
I will be making another appointment shortly to have implants & a "snap-in" denture made. I'm looking forward to it. This dental office is simply the best around here & I would never go anywhere else!

Absolutely marvelous! The office environment is so clean.The staffs are friendly.

They have the best of equipments. They got a beautiful facility. They were very professional. The staffs are good, and pleasant.

I Basically I'm a basket case about dentists.  I have severe dental phobia as a result of abuse as a child. (they'd hold me down) There was always a problem getting me numb, always a problem getting enough gas, always a problem with my ability to breath. I'd hyperventilate. A trip for even a routine filling filled me with so much anxiety I'd worry for a week. A friend recommended sedation dentistry, so my first appointment was with Dr. Bienstalk. He gave me some meds and I waited while they kicked in. The next think I knew I was all done.
Sadly Dr. Bienstalk retired, so he handed me over to Dr. Campbell. I was not thrilled about this, I was scared. Dr. Campbell looked like he was about 20! He reassured me that he could get me numb and just to make me feel better gave me a valium to take before my procedure. The injection was painless, the dental assistant placed her hand on my shoulder which, believe it or not, was very comforting. The gas was properly administered so I could breath. Previously I'd hyperventilate and not be able to take in enough air and it would feel like I was smothering. I heard Dr. Campbell give instructions to inflate the balloon more and in a couple seconds I was breathing fine. The bedside manner could not have been better. He spoke quietly and reassured me through the whole procedure. There was no grumbling or sighing from him as he worked on me. I could tell they cared about how I was feeling and they wanted to be sure I wasn't having pain. Too bad he can't be ALL my doctors! Many Thanks Dr. Campbell. Barbara Anderson

I have been going to Dr. Patterson for about 5 years now. When I first started going to him we came up with a overall plan (I needed some serious dental work). I explained that I would be paying out of pocket and did not have insurance. He advised me what he thought was a necessity and could held off till a later date. I have since completed all of my work and my teeth feel great. Dr. Patterson has great bedside manner and even makes small talk with you. I used to be embarrassed to go to the dentist until I started going here. The whole staff at Waterford Dental Health is great. I have recommended this practice to numerous friends and family.
