As part of our kitchen remodel, we began shopping for countertops unsure if we wanted marble, granite, stainless steel or something else. We priced granite at a stone distributor and were shocked at the prices as we previously had a kitchen in our last house that was double the size of our current kitchen. Relatively soon after we saw a truck with the name and quot;Salem Stoneand quot; and thought it would not hurt to check them out. First contact was made with Debra who is a designer and asked me to email her our plan. Immediately I received a quote for exactly what I requested, a mid grade granite and surprisingly it was for half the price of the other shop! I then visited the showroom and was very impressed! I chose my granite and was soon after contacted again by Debra saying my stone arrived for me to see and approve, We chose two different edges one for the counter and the other for the island. Only the island was a small upgrade for the Ogee edge and the edge on the counters were surprisingly not an up charge! The stone was installed this week and is amazing! We also purchased the sink, a faucet and a sink grate from Salem Stone, The day after the install I called Salem Stone to say thank you. I was informed that they did not use all of the stone they initially quoted us for (due to a change by us in our cabinet layout) and that we would receive a refund for about $350. Salem Stone has been by far the best out of everyone who we have dealt with relative to our kitchen remodel. They are honest, provide exceptional customer service and have exceeded all of our expectations.
