I am a classical piano teacher, so it was mortifying having to deal with problems related to my hands. He made me feel secure and that all would be fine. The day of the surgery I arrived at Pequot Medical. They were prompt and gracious in dealing with me. I was kept warm and comfortable while I waited. The procedure went just fine. Dr. Burrows gave me adequate pain medication for after. This was a huge deal to me because I have a low pain tolerance and a high resistance to pain meds. I needed the pain meds the first couple days and after that it was fine. I had meds left over. No PT after the surgery. The only thing I would change is getting a little sedative while I was waiting. I was a wreck nerve wise. An amazing job was done by Dr. Burrows and the staff at Pequot. Many Thanks,Barbara AndersonPawcatuck, CT
