furniture sales
 + -1 moreIt didn't go very well. We ended up with a sales person who seemed intent on selling us anything even if it wasn't what we wanted. We spotted a set that we were interested in but we needed to go home and take more measurements. We also wanted to order it in a different fabric. The salesman said we should order before we leave to get it going and that we could cancel it later. (Didn't seem like a good idea to us). Then he offered to waive the $75 delivery fee if we "ordered today". Then he offered to waive the $175 "up charge" for the special order fabric "if we ordered today". Since we weren't sure if it would even fit, his tactics were becoming quite annoying. We decided to leave and when we were walking out, he handed us a special sale card for the following Wednesday (12% off entire store). Continuing to shop around we have found Raymour and Flanigan's tactics to be unprofessional and also their prices seem to be higher than other stores. We did not use the special sale card.
Description of Work: We were shopping for furniture for a new home we just purchased. In this case we were looking for a living room set.
