"Hi [Removed member information], I just got notified that you sent a review in. Thank you very, very much for your kind words and for your business. We know there are many choices out there in today's market and we greatly appreciate that you chose us. Thank you again, Keith Santora"
I've used Keith and his crew before and will use them in the future if I need a and quot;Handymanand quot;.
Keith was very honest, clear, on time and cleaned up all signs of his presence each day. HandyWorks stands by it's work. Their work is their bond and of the highest quality.
In 2011, my home sustained ice damage. Handyworks came in and fixed the interior damage. Ceilings had to be repaired, walls fixed and repainted, HandyWorks fixed everything with no sign that any damage had ever been present.
At the same time, I had a ceiling fan with light installed in the master bedroom. Keith installed a radio controlled switch when I first enter the room, with a second switch that sits on the headboard of the bed so I can easily turn on/off the light and fan as well as adjust the intensity. I have to say, this is one of the best things I've done for the bedroom and I thank Keith for the idea.
At this time I also had Keith add a radio controlled switch in my kitchen fan/light combo. Another one of the best things I've had done in my home.
I've recently had water damage to my home. I foolishly let a tub overflow - damage upstairs and downstairs. Of course I will call HandyWorks for the repair! ServePro came out to get the water out of the house (Like it never happened...), but left holes in my ceiling, baseboards removed, carpet padding removed and walls that need to be repainted. As I said, of course I will call HandyWorks for the repair!
We ripped out the carpeting ourselves and they came in and installed the wood, stained and sealed it.
They did it in about 3 days.
The only thing I would make sure I asked about next time is how often Keith checked up on his workers.
They did a great job, but I would like to know how often he checked in on them and that is not something I asked about last time.
"This Customer asked us to give him a "quick, once over" paint job to various parts of the exterior of a rental property he owns in New Haven, Ct. The property had many years of deferred maintanence and the reason This customer did any work to this run down property is because( as he told us) the City of New Haven cited the property on several issues. We gave This customer exactly what he requested for the exact budget he asked us to work within. We found him very unresponsive to our attempts to communicate with him during the work process. He left us without access to electrical power on more than one occasion when he knew we were comming and didn't return phone calls about it for a day or two. We sent men there to work at 8am in the morning on two different occasions only to have to reschedule them at the last minute. After this customer contracted with us in writing, as to what he wanted and for the amount of money he was willing to spend, he soon began to realize the property needed substantialy more work. The Member didn't want to spend any more money and HandyWorks Of Ct refused to give him more than he was willing to pay for. We gave the Member what the scope of work in our contract called for. The Member's dissatisfaction with the job is a result of his unwillingness to spend the necessary money to make the property look good and not the quality of what HandyWorks did. The different colors he is referring to are on the areas of the house he wouldn't consider doing, not with the new work that HandyWorks did. We gave this customer the prep and spot priming he contracted for.as well as the finish spray and brush work. The little bit of over spray that got on a couple of the bricks was immediatly removed. We tried to tell this customer that we didn't think he would be happy with the result of what he was asking us to do. He assured us it would be fine."
