I called after 9 AM and left a message. They called back in less than 2 hours, came right over, and were done before lunch. After seeing the nest, they explained what they would do and what I should expect. At this time, the only yellow jackets I see are dead. I would definitely hire them again or recommend them to anyone needing their services.

I had someone out to give me an estimate the same day that I called, Joe junior was very polite and professional and his estimate was reasonable. On the day of treatment Joe senior arrived exactly at the time he told me he would be there, he too was very polite and professional.

I called and the person who answered said she would contact the guys. I got a call back right away and he came right out to do the job. He was very professional, pleasant, and prompt. I was impressed. This was the first time I used Angie's list. Very positive experience and I would recommend to friends.

Called around 8am and left a message. Returned my call at 9:45 and was at my residence by 10:30. Sprayed for yellowjackets thru the ceiling of a bedroom and then again outside. Took care of the problem and advised us how long to wait to clean up the dead bees and get rid of the nest.

We thought we had a large yellow jacket hive under the eave of our house and so, not wanting to tackle a project like that ourselves, I called Family Pest Control on a Friday afternoon. Joe Jr arrived on Monday morning right on time. He corrected me in that it wasn't a yellow jacket hive but instead it was a bald-faced hornet which are very nasty. He got right to work and quickly eliminated the problem. Overall it was a very good experience, from the pleasant woman who initially took my call, the quick call-back from Joe, and the quickly scheduled appointment. I would definitely use this company again.

We thought we had bed bugs and contacted Family Pest Control. They happened to be nearby on another job and were able to come to our house within 30 minutes of our call. After a short, but thorough, inspection he discovered carpet beetles - not the bed bugs we feared. He suggested a can of bug spray we could get at Home Depot that we could apply ourselves instead of having the expense of a professional do the work.
We then requested that he inspect our house perimeter for potential mouse entry points, as carpet beetles often feed on dead mice and we had had mice in our house in the past. He found a likely entry point near our basement bilco doors.
He was very knowledgeable, professional, and fair. I would highly recommend Family Pest Control to anyone that could use that service.
(We followed his advice and applied the bug spray ourselves. We haven't had a problem since).

Noticed some termite damage in our newly renovated room so I immediately called Family Pest Control and couldn't have been more pleased with their professionalism and their responsiveness. The owner Joe came out to a**** the situation and was exactly on time and explained how he would remedy the issue. I made an appointment with them two weeks after the initial findings and everything went well. Joe was a pleasure to work with and was very honest and knowledgeable. It took around four hours to complete the job with no hiccups. Aside from termites we also had an issue with carpenter ants and Joe explained the product he was using would also take care of them along with other insects. I was very satisfied with the company and would recommend them any time. In my opinion it's always better to deal with small businesses who have their names attached to the work. I am thankful we found them through Angie's List.

Can't say enough about Family Pest Control!
They first performed a termite treatment on our property in 1998 under their former name of Centurion Exterminating, for the previous homeowners. Since my husband and I purchased the house we had been using Terminix and they recently did a termite inspection.
Knowing there was evidence of termite damage when we purchased the property, we called Family Pest Control to come out and verify whether we did have new damage, or if it was left over from the previous incident.
I called on a Friday afternoon and they came out Monday at noon. He was right on time and verified that the "evidence" found was from the original issue in 1998 - saving us $1700!
Needless to say, I will be cancelling our Terminix service and switching to Family Pest Control immediately! The honesty, integrity, punctuality and professionalism of this family owned business is definitely the way to go.

They are very good and their pricing is reasonable. It is a family owned business; they are very upfront and are good to work with. They are great on follow-up and have come out a number of times to check the properties at no charge. I will use them again in the future.
