Clean, quick, very professional

I contacted Cipriani Construction to get an estimate for a porch remodel project. Though we did not use Cipriani Construction for the project, I found the company to be professional. I was contacted right away, an appt. was set and they showed up! on time!!!! in the rain!!!! I received an estimate that was concise and detailed in a timely manner. We had a change of plans with our project and did not use Cipriani but I would not hesitate to contact them in the future.

Called the owner Rich Cepriani three times to setup an appointment. Finally ,he came out to give an estimate. Aweek later than the visit of the location i called him again to get my plans back as I assumed that his unresponsiveness means that he is not interested in the project. I have not received my plans back as of yet. I can understand in a business you can be busy but a phone call or an email from him would have been enough for me. I am sorry for this company who lost 100,000 plus of commercial business in this economy just because of lack of professionalism and absence of response whatsoever.

The quote included only labor and did not include the vanities, tiles or new toilets like the other company. There were no dislikes or negatives. They were prompt and professional.

Cipriani Construction replied to my request for an estimate immediately. As soon as Rich saw the front door, he told me that as a professional, he couldn't replace just the front door and save the casement/side-lights. The door, most likely, if replaced, wouldn't hang right. After his thorough explanation, it was clear that the entire door and casement needed to be replaced. (Another contractor also explained this to us). After looking at the three jobs that needed completion, an estimate of about $920 came back to us. The door and casement that we chose would need staining. Rich told us that his son has a painting business (Cutting Edge Painters) and we hired Brandon Cipriani to stain the door and casement after his estimate of $300 came back to us. Three coats were needed. The staining job was spectacular. You can see the care that went into every stroke. Rich made it very convenient for us as the door was delivered directly from and quot;House of Doorsand quot; in Southington to Rich's company in Wallingford where Brandon stained it.The entire front door project went very smoothly. The attention to detail and neatness was impressive. I was at home at the time so they made sure that I saw what was going on and I appreciated that. The rotted areas around the attic vent were replaced and cleaned up nicely. When the work on the back door began, they found that the rot damage was more extensive and suggested more involved work rather than just a and quot;bandageand quot; to cover it up. I thoroughly agreed and Cipriani construction came out six days later (this all took place during the Christmas holiday) to complete the work. They arrived on time and did a very thorough job on cleaning the rot, replacing it with AZEK boarding, adding flashing, putting the siding back on and overall clean up etc. This work was an additional $400, which we considered very reasonable considering the clean up they had to do from the rot. A very small set of stairs had to be removed in order to get to the rot under the door. They moved it very carefully and replaced it without any problems. We have only praise for Cipriani Construction. We would recommend them 150%. The entire crew is friendly, hard-working, detail oriented, clean and neat..... Wow! We finally found a company that we can trust and we will definitely be hiring them again for more work that needs attention. We even received a thank you note in the mail from Rich!

They showed up when they said they would, did a quick and professional job and cleaned up when they were done.
