John Materus General Contracting

Our experience with John Materas was excellent. I was given his name by our electrician. In April he came out to the house and met with us and looked at the work that needed to be done. He asked us what our budget was and a week or so later returned an estimate that was in line with what we wanted to spend. Work began on Memorial Day weekend. He worked on the project over the summer. By the end of August the work was complete apart from a few minor details which he came back to fix a bit later. I can't say enough about the great job he did rebuilding the 3 season room. The original room had been a 70's kit type installation with aluminum wrapped particle board which had been severely deteriorating over time and was at the point of near collapse. He constructed permanent walls with new construction type windows and the room was fully insulated. In terms of the deck he constructed, it is 14' X 14' and in the newer material which requires hardly any maintenance. We couldn't be happier with it. We plan on calling on John again in the future with a bathroom remodeling project.
