The service provided by Walter and Debbie was excellent. No complaints.

Very impressed, normally due to my porous safety cover my pool is very green when opened. Last Fall I tried Vernon Pool man they closed pool and this spring they opened it, best it ever looked upon opening.  They also took their time and diagnosed air leak and corrected it.
Would definitely recommend them

We have been using Vernon Poolman to service our pool and handle our pool closing for many years now.

I've always found them fast and friendly.   Whenever we have had a problem they have been responsive and quick to answer any questions I might have.

Their hours are extended during the summer months for picking up supplies as well, and the prices have been reasonable.

Vernon Poolman installed the pool and has serviced it, openings and closings for years.  They have always been  helpful with questions.  Excellent company!

First time using this firm. Polite and arrived on time. Opened the pool and folded the pool cover into the storage bag. Only minor complaint was that they didn't put diverter into the main skimmer (under the leaf collector) and left the main pool drain plug in. Next time, I will monitor more closely.

They had the old liner out, the surface prepped and the new liner in in one day.

Vernon came out and they fixed the issue we had, no problem.  They came with underground penetrating something system and they found where the leak was in the line to our pool.  They fixed what was wrong with our pump and they told us where the crack was and they were pretty cool because they said, “you can fix it yourself at $20.00 or we can do it and we will charge you $500.”  He just showed us the little crack in the line, like the L-joint, so this is where it’s at.  He saved us like $500 because he showed us how to fix it ourselves.  He went out of his way to give us money.  Well we paid for the pump, service in installation and everything.  It came out to be like $700.  So we should have spent more if he didn’t tell us how to fix that little leak we had.  Everything went perfectly.  They were respectful and it was done in hours, you wouldn’t even know they were here. 

We ordered a pool from Vernon Poolman. Salesperson was very knowlegable and answered questions we didn't know we had. They have helped us get our water right and explained everything we needed to know about winterizing. They have all the supplies and chemicals we need in stock and with their help I anticipate having no problems in the future with my purchase.

The old (approx. 13 years old) pool liner needed to be replaced since previous ground water problems caused it to "lift" - when the old liner settled back down, it formed creases and folds, which over time (5 years) managed to tear and start leaking.
When I contacted Vernon Poolman, they responded very quickly.  They came out to the house, scoped out the work they would have to do and gave us a quote within one week.
The removal of the old liner and installation of the new one went very well.  Vernon Poolman also replaced three plastic pool fittings: two round discharge ports (through which water enters the pool after going through the filter) and the rectangular outlet port at the skimmer.  The new parts are of an improved (better) design.
The workers were friendly, very efficient and professional.
We would definitely hire Vernon Poolman again if the need arises.

Expert in everything they do.  Owners Walter and Debbie were very courteous and patient.  Made themselves infinitely available and answered all of our questions - most of the time with an in-person visit to our home.  Their workers were also very courteous and helpful.  Every time one of us went outside to observe, they would stop and check if we had any questions or concerns.
The finished product was more than we could have dreamed of.  The pool is perfect.  The fence is straight as an arrow, and installed securely.  Clean-up after the job was also done thoroughly.  No debris left behind.
They went above and beyond at every opportunity.  My house is new construction, and the back yard is quite steep - this caused quite a bit of water to be ever present in the ground in my backyard.  For no extra charge, the crew installed additional drainage - above and beyond - to ensure we would not have water problems in or around the pool area.
I would recommend Vernon Poolman unconditionally.  Our experience was second to none.

Excellent!  They are absolute best!   I can't say enough great things about Walter and Debbie and their team.   So prompt, courteous, thorough.  I recommend them to everyone who is looking for a pool or needs their pool serviced. 

The job went very well. I was impressed right from the start because they arrived to provide an estimate and then to do the work on the precise day/time they scheduled each. These days that is an A+ .( My experience with other contractors has not been very good.) The work was professionally completed and the workers very pleasant. This was a relatively small job however I felt that they were just as committed to get the job done right as any other task. I would strongly recommend Vernon Poolman.

Everything went very well.  The weather was not cooperating, but once he was able to get a decent day, everything was done in one visit.  He's easy to work with and they did a quality job.

The price depends on the size and whether I have the filters done or not. They clean the filter, and take it all apart and do whatever they have to. I would use them again in the future.

The pool opening went well, we didn't have to be there and there were no problems.  The pool cover was left by the pool instead of put back into the storage like we were used to with previous pool openers, but it wasn't too much of a hassle.

We bought the chemicals for the summer.  We did not use much of it and had to buy a lot of other chemicals.  Much of the package did not apply to our sand filter and needed to be returned.  It was not the deal that it sounded like it would be.

The pool took a long time to get in balance, previously the pool opener we had used the right balance of chemicals and the pool was perfect in about 2 days.  This time we spent a month adding chemicals trying to get it right.  Finally we returned to our previous opener (which we have rated highly now on Angie's List) and the pool was sparkling in 2 days again.

We were not required to be home, which was convenient, so I cannot comment on the professionalism. The service was done on the day requested and it was easy to get an appointment. We switched from a different pool service and we are glad we switched.

They are responsive for repairs or any work. They are a friendly family business. You can call them, and you're a valued customer.

Excellent service. They were available when we called them (remember it was winter time). They arrived on-time, explained us what they were going to do, and offered us a good price, which they honored. They have a valid and active license, liability and workers comp insurances with appropriate and sufficient coverage.

In attempting to fix a long standing problem with my swimming pool I contacted Vernon Poolman, as I found no Vernon pool and spa service in Angie's list. Vernon Poolman was nearby, but I had never used them. I contacted them, got a price, and was scheduled for work to be done in a few days. They arrived on time and isolated the problem within an hour. We discussed repair options and costs and scheduled the actual repairs for a few days later. Meanwhile, I experienced a problem getting the pump working properly a day later and they came right out and got things running. When they returned as scheduled they went above and beyond the actual repair, and left everything neat and in working order. All work was done in a timely and professional manner as scheduled. The cost was quite modest and lower than expected. I would not hesitate to refer them to anyone, and will certainly use them again.
