This job took one day. I had mildly edged out the area for cobbles. These were medium size cobbles and they needed to dig out quite a bit more in order to lay them with a few inches above ground; there were some tree roots complicating the process. They also spread the new stones out around the entire house; I have a small ranch/attached breezeway-garage. They did a great job and it looks great!
Last season, in the Fall, I had another job done by Thomas and his team. I had dug out all of the crowded plants in front of my breezeway entrance and had them lay some beautiful large stones down in a random design with a cobble edge. The bonus is that Thomas noticed that I had a gutter ending in a very awkward way right by the steps of the breezeway entrance. He was able to run the gutter under the ground, into a sort of well, lined with a lot of gravel; sorry Thomas, if this is not the best description. It has been working well so far and I am so pleased to be done with that gutter issue. Thomas periodically stops by to have a look at his work and do minor touch ups which I really appreciate.
In addition to these jobs, Thomas has lots of information to share and is obviously enthusiastic about his work. He can give you many ideas for the future and also help you stay within your budget. I hope to use this provider again in the future.
