I am fully insured and all the work is done professionally by myself (no employees).+ I almost always answer my phone-860 508 0447 if I'm near it - so call me! Please visit my website for more information http://www.themarcofcleanwindows.com/ I ALSO do powerwashing of houses/decks/patios etc. Lastly --i have an eBay business. I resell things. If you have ''stuff'' in your garage, basement etc that you don't want (most people do) - I might give you $$ for it! Please ASK ME! You'd be surprised what i might buy from you!

Great work! We sold our home, so the extra TLC, inside and out we did, made a difference!

Marc mentioned to me in our phone conversation that if I had items that I wanted to get rid of he sells things on Ebay and we might negotiate that into the price that he quoted me of $125.00 to clean the gutters. I didn't want to negotiate a price I just wanted to get rid of the items. I gave him a brand new air fryer, a brand new Breville slow cooker and assorted pots and pans. The first thing he said when he walked into my garage was "there's no back door." I thought that was a strange comment since he didn't need to get out the garage door to clean the gutters. One he started cleaning the gutters I noticed that he was throwing all the debris on the lawn. I approached him about it and he said he didn't have any bags with him. Also, strange since everyone I've had clean the gutters before has had some method of removing the leaves. I gave him bags. I was sitting in my kitchen a little while later and he came bursting through my front door. There was absolutely no reason for him to be inside the house at that time. I ushered him out and he made some lame excuse that he wanted to make sure the gutters he was cleaning were mine. I live in a free standing condo and even at that there was NO reason for him to be INSIDE my house in the foyer. He had been in the kitchen briefly to pick up the pots and pan but that is nowhere near the foyer. After he finished, I gave him a check for the full $125.00. The next day I went out into the garage to get my Breville juicer that he had admired the previous day and it was gone. I emailed him and asked him to check and see if he had picked it up by mistake and this is the reply I got "the one with the handle that does oranges? I have it." I asked him to drop it off to me and I haven't heard a word from him since. I really am scared because I feel he was casing my house. I am a 79 year old woman that lives alone and the reason I hired Angie's list was that I thought that I would be safe because you vet your contractors. As far as if he did a good job cleaning the gutters, I have someone coming next week to put guards on them so I'll know then. Please look into this because I'm sure I'm not the only one this has happened to.

"i did the gutter cleaning to her satisfaction and got paid. i don't know why the 1 star-I've been doing this for 30 years with little complaint. (yes i mentioned my ebay store in case she had ''stuff'' she didn't want-sometimes i buy it-customers love to get paid for ''stuff'' the have no use for that i can give them cash for!--a little business i have for extra family $-and she DID sell me some older cookware for cash, so i don't quite understand her story. thanku"

The pricing was very reasonable compared with other providers in the area. Scheduling was easy and I am delighted that my windows look sparkling clean. It is a big difference! I felt comfortable with Marc in my home. He also respected my request to wear clean shoes n carpeted stairs which had recently been shampooed.

I was advised that I did not need to be home when the services were performed which was a big mistake on my part.  His ad states that he personally performs the services and sponges each window by hand and then squeegees off each window.  He told me he had been to the site prior to the date of the work.  He calls me when he gets there on the day he's starting the job and tells me that he underestimated the square footage of the deck and the house and would need to charge more, a ballpark of perhaps an additional $100 as he didn't know he would be stripping the deck.  Yet, he did know this when he quoted the job because I told him I wanted it powered washed in preparation for staining.  He power washed the house and did not touch the gutters, soffits, trim or exterior window sills, but he did manage to chip the paint from several shutters which I will now need to touch up in addition to clearning the trim, gutters and soffits myself.  As for the window cleaning, the "glass" on most of the windows were cleaned satisfactorily; however, that's it.  He did not touch the trim surrounding the windows, the tracks or the exterior sill.  Some of the windows on the 2nd floor looked as though they had not been touched, were spotted and/or smeared.  Windows that were adjacent to the pressure washed deck were splattered with stain chips from the deck.
I lived with the windows to further inspect in different lighting conditions for approximately one week.  I called Marc and advised that I had not paid his invoice (which was over $200+ from his original quote) as I was not satisfied with the work which was performed for all of the reasons listed above.  He offered a mutlitude of excuses, most of which made no sense, such as blaming the outcome of the windows on hard water spots for which he was now investigating additional chemical treatments.  Clearly this is not the problem as I have never experienced this when I cleaned the windows myself and the problem is only on some, not all the windows which were cleaned with the same water.  As to the lack of cleaning the exterior tracks and sills, his statement was that he "cleans glass".  I advised his website advertises him as a window cleaner that hand sponges each window.  The window includes not only glass but frame & sill and there is no way these windows were hand sponged.  He admitted they were not hand sponged which conflicts with his advertising.  He also stated some of the windows on the 2nd floor were hard to reach.  No kidding, that's why I hired a "professional".  If he couldn't handle the job, he should have said so, especially since he was supposedly at my house to inspect prior to the day he actually performed the work.  I will be reducing his bill by the number of windows I've had to re-clean myself and back to the quoted amount for pressure washing of the deck & house.
Whatever method he used, the work was not satisfactory.  If you are hired to pressure wash an entire house and clean the windows, why would you leave the trim of the house, soffits, exterior window frames & sills filthy?

"Just read this review...been a while since i did her. She said a lot. Not all is accurate but I'm not going to argue it in detail. I did her next door neighbor-same deal-he loved it. After 25 yrs in business-not everyone happy. I'm easy to reach, reasonable to work with and have tons of happy customers or i would not have lasted 25 years only doing window cleaning and powerwashing. So...She wasn't happy, didn't tell me all this, but put it in print. I'm sorry. I have tons of letters from satisfied customers that I should put up on my website but after 25 years....I guess i just wake up each morning and work with each client the best i can. thanku."
