Bob Gombieski

We found Bob Gombieski about 6 months ago on Rare Reminder, and hired him to remove the carpeting from our living room, dining room, hallway, and stairs. It turns out that whoever had installed the carpeting on the stairs overdid it, and there were multiple nails that were very slow to pull out. It took much longer than either of us expected, but Bob kept to the price he had quoted, and did an excellent job of pulling out every single nail. Last week, when we decided to remove the rest of our carpeting, we called him, and he came over that day to give us an estimate. We made an appointment for 5 days later for him to do the work, which was this morning, and, again, we are very pleased with the work Bob did. He's prompt and extremely careful. He cleans up perfectly and hauls away the old carpet and padding. Bob is very easy to get along with and gave us good advice in response to various flooring questions we asked him. His business card says that he also installs carpeting. If we ever want to install carpeting again, we will definitely call him.
