There was not one thing that was done correctly. He put in the basement door frame incorrectly so that it warped. It would only open 3/4 of the way. He was a complete hack job. I warned him that the house was from the 1920's and had lead paint in the window frames. He didn't put down any protection when he sawed into the frames. This resulted in toxic levels of lead in the house. My tenant's son had lead poisoning due to his negligence. He wasn't lead paint certified, and he should have been. I am currently winning a lawsuit again him for gross negligence. He didn't seem to care about the right way to do things. He just took then money and didn't even complete the job. He kept giving me excuses when I tried to contact him about his poor work.
