Alan Voss

Alan is incredibly meticulous and is very particular about his work and that of the people who work with him. He makes sure everything is done to his and your satisfaction. He has a very good eye for design and moved the refrigerator and cooking areas around in a way that made the kitchen much more efficient and more attractive. He knows the Ikea cabinet sizes perfectly and knows just how to plan a kitchen out using them. He is creative and resourceful, and can customize as desired. I asked for and relied on his judgement frequently during the project. I got his name from a co-worker who also had him install an Ikea kitchen with some custom work, so I was able to see the job he did in her kitchen prior. He is a excellent cabinet maker and had finances allowed,  I would have definitely had him do custom cabinets. 
He always returned my calls promptly and met us initially and spent a lot of time getting a feel for what we wanted and how we used the kitchen. He then came back with at least 4 designs suggestions to choose from.  He was always very good about letting us know exactly when he would be there and what would be happening on what schedule, and kept us on track. He also suggested cutting some of the old cabinets and moving them downstairs (we have a raised ranch) so we would have a work area to put a microwave on to use as our temporary "kitchen". He and his work people were always very careful about cleaning up and not leaving any mess around throughout the process. 
We were so pleased that we also asked if he would replace our decks afterwards, which were starting to deteriorate, which he did and corrected some structural deficiencies he discovered, in the process. I would use Alan again for any of my remodeling needs, and am thrilled to have someone I can trust for advice, honest assessment, fair price and quality work on any project.
